Checking reviews
After reading these reviews I must say my experience was as bad as what these people insured. Wait in the waiting room, sit in the office in your underwear for 40 minutes, Dr comes in doesnt introduce herself, the visit felt rushed, was told these appointments are scheduled for 10 minutes, if you need other issues dealt with make another appointment, terrible all around experience!

I was referred to this office 2 months ago. I am an RN and became ill with Parkinson's and Dementia. I have fallen between the cracks temporarily and have IPA. My referral was through BJC referral dept. They match with insurance. It was approved by IDPA. I gave my insurance when making appt. When I got there this morning, a very rude receptionist looked down her nose at me and threw my card back at me and told me they don't take IPA. I tried to show my referral letter, but she wouldn't even look at it. I told her a gave insurance info when making appt. She said she didn't care I was not going to be seen.

I waited 7 months to get in to see Schaberg. I explained that I wanted a full body examination, as I had never had one before. Her office is in a basement, so it was chilly. I arrived 15 min early filled out paperwork, and was placed in an exam room and given a paper down to put on. The room was freezing. I waited 45min for the doctor, she came in, didn't even make eye contact with me and just kept talking to her nurse. Worst of all, her exam lasted less than 3min. No joke. She's terrible+greedy

When she entered the room, she did not even introduce herself to my mother or I. She immediately just came up to me and froze my nose with a spray can without warning. She did a scrape biopsy, and when doing it she said "I hope I got enough for a good biopsy". When she got the results back, it said "non cancerous, non conclusive", so she gave me a cream for a fungal infection. Fast forward 13 months, and I have a very serious form of skin cancer and a very huge facial surgery. Do not trust her.

After a change in insurance companies, I called for an appointment in January and couldn't get an appt. until March. After sitting in the office half an hour past my appt. I went up to see if I could start filling out paperwork before I was seen by the dr. I was told I needed a referral! I don't know why I wasn't told that in January?? Then I asked why I had been sitting there for 45 minutes without being told that and the receptionist said she didn't even know I was waiting???

Went to see Dr. Schaberg with my 8-year old. His skin issues were really bad. Dr. Schaberg treated him with compassion and prescribed topical meds. So glad we went to her! Amazing doctor! Knowledgeable. His skin issues cleared up quickly with the regimen prescribed.

I called to set up a new patient appointment. This is the beginning of May and was told I couldn't get in until the end of June. Appointments are booked for 1 issue at a time. After I asked why, the rude office person on the phone said that's just the way it is. So this doctor wants me to take 3 days off of work because I have 3 separate issues I need to discuss?! How do people like this stay in business? No wonder all the reviews on this doctor are substandard - yet she still has a job?

Her office staff was rude after we waited in the small room about 45 minutes. The Dr. came in and she was very rude and we had to finally tell her to do her job and lose the attitude. We will NEVER go back to her.
