Dr. Susan Stevens, DO

I'm sitting here reading the reviews I'm in aw of the people that have spoken there truth about Dr Stevens while she's a very good person I've never felt that she's a thorough Dr. I've been going to Dr Stevens for over 20 years and she's basically all I knew as a primary not knowing I could have better there is no ill feelings but I have to search for a better Dr that listens well and is through about my health I'm getting older and I need the best.

Does not listen nor does she care. Does not want to give referrals when needed. Be careful don’t stick around too long if you are not getting help or made to feel it’s in your head. Could be serious like what happened to me. She is not a very good doctor. Staff is rude.

I do not recommend this doctor. She was my doctor for years, but as an adult I discovered she is incompetent. I had a severe allergic reaction to medication that landed me in urgent care 2 times in one week. I had hives all over my body, and my hands swelled to the point I could barely make a fist. I had 4 different doctors/nurses in the urgent care tell me it was an allergic reaction and I should see an allergist. When I went to see her for a follow-up appt. she said "Hives are not an allergic reaction, you don't need an allergist" dismissing the advice of the other 4 doctors/nurses. When she was preparing me for an IUD, she measured my uterus to be the size of a toddler (I'm 27) and was not concerned. She simply said, "you have a small Uterus." After speaking to an OBGYN for a second opinion she suggested to investigate this because if that was the case I have a medical issue that needs addressed, and she could not believe this was dismissed. My Uterus is fine, she measured wrong.

Terrible Doctor! Does not listen to you and shows a lack of interest. Had very serious health issues made me feel it was in my head until I got another doctor and found out different had to have surgeries and took a long time to recover from damage she helped create by not treating me correctly!

Dr. Stevens has been my doctor for several years. She is very knowledgeable, takes the times to answer my questions, and is very thorough. I never have to wait long in her office. Now that it is during the time of corona virus you wait in your car until it is your turn.

Worst doctor experience I have ever had may seem nice but she profiles you and you can tell the lack of interest in helping you. Told her over and over something was wrong took a few years of suffering to finally find out I had a serious health problem from a different Dr. All the time wasted with bad symptoms so upsetting. Unless you have a cold to go there.

I've been going to Dr. Stevens for years...she is a wonderful, thoughtful, knowledgeable physician and a great people person.

Dr. Stevens is a great doctor and a very friendly person. Unfortunately her staff is rude, unhelpful and more concerned with money than patient care. I needed a referral for something I knew Dr. Stevens couldn't help me with, but the office staff insisted that I come in since I hadn't been there in a while. So they wanted to waste my money and my insurance company's money since they hadn't been able to Bill me for a while? Ridiculous. I was a patient for 25+ years until today.

The doctor and her staff are friendly, and she seems to care and listen to you for the 5 minutes she has. Unfortunately her staff repeatedly forgets to send in prescriptions, including imitrix for migraines and antibiotic for an infection. That's just dangerously incompetent. Waiting 2 hours to see a doctor for 5 minutes and not even getting your medicine? I've been going for years but have had enough.
