I really appreciate Dr. Quasem’s down to earth demeanor- I’ve been to several different psychiatrists and they’re usually so weird! She’s very collaborative & thorough. Our first session was 2 hours & it was a welcome change from other doctors who rush through things without really listening. Highly recommend!

Great anxiety treatment
I've worked with Dr. Quasem since I was 12 to treat my anxiety, and she's amazing! She is a great listener, and has worked with me to make the best choices for myself with treating my anxiety.

Dr. Quasem is a really great psychiatrist for children and families. She was very highly recommended by my children's 0efiatrician and therapist. It is really hard to work on private issues but she really makes you feel comfortable, is very collaborative in her process, and makes it easy on you. She's definitely worth the wait to get in to see her.

The best
I started seeing Dr. Quasem 10 years ago when I hit a really rough patch. I had seen many other counselors before her, and I had a horrible experience. Dr. Quasem was the only person I would speak to and she truly helped me more than I can express. 10 years later I am a completely different person and I can say Dr. Quasem played a big roll in that.

This woman will over medicate you, misdiagnose you, and leave you far worse off than if you’d never seen her. I ended up in the emergency room after a year of seeing her and a Vanderbilt doctor asked who put me on so many drugs. Dr. Quasem did! And if you try to leave she will make it hard. Go somewhere else. I left psychiatry for functional medicine and got better.

Dr. Quasem has made my child feel so at ease in talking about his attention and anxiety issues. She helped us arrive at a medication that helped him reach his potential while not losing his personality. Some doctor's are hard to reach and don't collaborate with a patient's other providers, school, etc. Not the case with Dr. Quasem. She went the extra mile to get information from other people in my child's life to inform her decisions and provide a high level of care! I highly recommend!

Dr. Quasem has made such a positive impact on my son and our family. She really listens and tries to understand and identify the core issue. She makes kids feel comfortable, and also treats parents with kindness and empathy. Her holistic approach has been very valuable - we've taken advantage of services like speech therapy, PCIT and testing in her office.

I brought my child to her w/hope for help. For those who should consider her for your child please note, she will not respect your position as parent and did not provide the quality care that was recommended by others. My child is two years in her care, this child has been neglected and experimented with psycho medication so dangerously. My child is worse today and past being able to help since adult age is nearing, I can no longer help my child further. She has damaged my child and our fam.
