Dr. Susanne Hopkins, MD

She has zero interest in listening to her patients. She is abrasive and a bully. She has no interest in pain reduction nor even acknowledging something might be painful. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to her for care. Requested a referral as obviously not a good doctor for me and was given a name of another practice, not even a phone number or doctor name. She may have been great once, but she should retire now

I had thought we communicated well, and she said all the right things about listening to my opinions on stuff and making decisions together, but after I left, that all changed, getting unsolicited phone calls to add appointments and go directly into procedures we had originally decided to talk about before jumping into. I feel decidedly UNlistened to, pressured, and uncomfortable.

Very few doctors and offices make you feel welcome. I have been going here for over 14 years and Dr. Hopkins came in halfway through. She makes you feel like your not one of the many patients she sees everyday. Doctor's are over worked and jamming patients into schedules to make up for the last 3 years and insurance reasons. I adore her and am so grateful I have her even if I only see her a couple times a year.

After doing some thorough research I decided to schedule with Dr Hopkins for a tubal ligation surgery in December. My experience was wonderful. She explained the procedure clearly, and listened to any questions I had. She is a bit late to her appointments but she is worth the wait. I felt comfortable with her, as most doctors only spend an average of 20 seconds with their patients, she spent a good 15 mins explaining everything. Overall my experience was great and I highly recommend her!

Dr. Hopkins is wonderful. She is very down to earth and I feel like I am seeing a friend, not a doctor when I go in for my appointment.

Dr. Hopkins does not overbook her practice, so her time with me is not rushed in any way. I feel I have her undivided attention when we meet.
