Waited six weeks for an appointment as a new patient. Arrived 15 minutes early as requested to fill in paperwork. Surprisingly, no medical information was sought. Just the privacy notice, and as an afterthought, the rather bored receptionist handed me a paper requesting my marital status (filled in with 'Unknown' for some unknown reason) and my employment details, none of which have anything to do with the reason for my visit. Sterile, unattractive waiting room. 45 minutes later, summoned in by the nurse. In the room "And what are you here for?" I asked if anyone had looked at any of the reasons for my visit. (I had called the day before to see if they needed my CD of my foot x-rays, only to be told that they had that under control.) I asked the nurse if she had any idea why I was there. Exasperatedly, she flipped a couple of stapled pages and responded that they only get a referral from the primary doctor. There was no acknowledgement or apology for the long wait.

I had a scheduled appointment but was called to reschedule since Dr. Felson would be out of town. I accepted the date and time the scheduler offered and I was happy to be getting in earlier. Today I arrived 15 minutes early, as requested. The waiting room was very warm and stuffy. After waiting 15 minutes past my appointment time I asked how long the wait was going to be. I was told it would be another 30-45 minutes. I had to leave without seeing the doctor. The waiting room is too warm.
