Violated my parental rights
After we switched pediatricians and I secured records it was clear by her notes Dr. Resto was recording things in her visit notes about ME. This is disturbing. She was trying to incriminate me as a bad mother when my child had feeding issues. It was truly bizarre and a jolt to see fabricated descriptions about me in her notes. Extremely disturbing. Around the time of her notes I had found on my own a feeding specialist who worked primarily with the Downes Syndrome population but was instrumental in helping my baby with feeding. Dr. Resto did not know of such a specialist I found her on my own and it helped tremendously. All Dr. Resto did was build a “case” against me. So scary.

Misdiagnosed my child
Dr. Resto failed to catch that my baby was suffering from hypothyroidism. Thankfully a family friend, Cardio Surgeon caught it and he improved once we administered thyroid hormone. My baby was almost failure to thrive due to her missed diagnosis.

Dr. Resto has been caring for my children since infancy. She is caring and kind, very soft spoken and gentle. She takes the time to perform a thorough exam and listens to concerns. She explains everything and is always reassuring. My kids love Dr. Resto.
