Dr. Swapna Joseph, MD

Dr Joseph spoke to me as if I was family even though she had just met me. She helped me sort though some difficult options given to me by my surgeon. The choice we made quite possibly saved my life and at the very least save me from some additional dramatic procedures. I am forever indebted to her.

Dr Joseph has been my doctor for 12 years. She has improved my condition and my sense of well being. You can ask her anything you don't understand and she will explain it until you can. She does spend a lot of time with patients that need it. I would recommend Dr. Joseph to anyone that wants a good nephrologist wiith a good heart.

I just found out this week that she is closing her nephrology practice. It was quite a shock. I can't explain in enough words how great & awesome Dr. Joseph really is! That's on a professional and personal level! With every visit, from all the hospital stays in 2014, to the most current office visit on 4/9/20 ( phone visit/due to Covid-19), she's always been there for me. She would always be willing to just listen to me, no matter how small or unimportant it might have seemed that day. But with all her skills, wisdom & knowledge I've always been happy to see her at every visit, and even more "thankful" for her, when I left! I'm sure she saved my life! She's one of the few doctors I've been "blessed" to have known! ~ I'll truly miss her! ~

Doc Joseph is and always will be my favorite doctor. I have been seeing Doc Joseph for many years. she is caring, VERY thorough and very innovative. I have Minimal Change Disease and she has been trying for many years to help me find the BEST treatment plans for me. Has gotten insurance to approve VERY expensive treatments in order to combat this thing I have. Doc Joseph has made herself VERY accessible to me to answer questions regarding the progress of my treatments with her. I could text her pictures of my swollen legs and she would call me directly at home to discuss our next game plan. In many respects, Doc Joseph has SAVED MY LIFE!

I cannot praise Dr Joseph enough. She never rushes one in and out, but listens to patient problems and concerns. She has helped me get back to near normal kidney functions. I only wish all my doctors were as knowledgeable and caring.

Dr Joseph always takes her time to explain my different diagnosis and course of treatment. Never making me feel rushed out of the office. She's very knowledgeable and follows through on what she says.
