Dr. Kancherla , Dr. Carey, and their team were so incredible to work with! My LASIK was an incredible experience with no pain and incredible results. This team made me feel comfortable with the surgery and recovery. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is considering LASIK!

Dr Kancherla is a very caring physician who takes the time to explain things. She is very professional. If you have dry eye she is a wealth of knowledge.

Dr. Kancheria is really the best Opthalmologist I have ever had over these many years and I have had quite a few . She is personable, knowledgeable, and caring. She explained everything to me about cataract surgery, etc. and I felt so at ease going into surgery. I am sadden by the fact that she will be moving to another state, I wish her the very best and know that she will continue the legacy she has at the Raleigh Eye Center. Yearly eye exam- Dr. K is great I will see her every time I go.! Her tech associate Rene is a terrific staff member. I have cataracts and she explained them to me in a way that I finally understand! I am sure I was told about these before but she is so patient and knowledgeable I wanted to be sure I noted it. She also assisted with explanation on insurance coverage and some changes to the process. All this information was provided without me asking since we don’t know what to ask sometimes when asked. GREAT job Rene!

I would highly recommend Dr. Kancherla. She combined a very caring and supportive demeanor with precision medical applications. I felt very safe and well informed about the process involved in doing cataract surgery on both of my eyes. She covered the options, prepared me for what would or could happen, and performed excellent surgery in restoring my vision. Her whole staff was equally supportive throughout the process. She voiced and communicated she was concerned about my welfare as a patient and what was best for me. I felt safe in asking her questions and getting honest answers in an open discussion concerning my health. I never felt hurried but was treated as an equal in the process. Dr. Kancherla demonstrated loving, caring support in a very professional manner. Well Done! My daughter also said she would want her to do her surgery if she ever had to have it. Dr. Kancherla is a great Dr that cares about her patients. She is highly trained from some of the top schools for her field of work. My experience was that she was thorough and cared about my eye problem to make sure I did not have any other issues.

Dr. Kancherla and her assistant, Susie, listened closely to my concerns and spent a lot of time testing my eyes. I was shocked to find out that I had cataracts, but relieved to have an explanation for my rapidly changing vision. Dr. Kancherla told me of an online lens simulator that helped me decide which type of new lens to choose. I talked to multiple people who'd had cataract surgery who were thrilled with the result, but also talked of the time consuming series of eye drops required. I discovered that Dr. Kancherla has a simplified eye drop method that was VERY easy. I've had cataract surgery in both eyes done without any post-op issues. I now have 20/20 vision thanks to my new multifocal lenses - and Dr. Kancherla!
