Dr. Swati Saraiya, MD

went to doctor for pain. after an ultrasound presented a uterine fibroid. The response i got was everything is fine and very dismissive of what i was saying.

Each time I visit with Dr. Saraiya i leave with unanswered questions and concerns. She inserted Nexaplanon in my arm 3 years ago and I cant even feel it in my arm anymore. I scheduled an appointment with her to address my concerns about the implant moving and the side effects and she said "Well are you pregnant?" to justify that i shouldnt get it removed. She wouldnt help me find another birth control nor would she remove the implant. I have a friend who also got the Nexaplanon implant inserted by Dr. Saraiya and she now has to get surgery because the implant moved up to her armpit. I strongly advise you not to schedule with this doctor if you have any concerns regarding birth control and definetly do not allow this doctor to insert the implant in your body.

My first visit with Dr. Saraiya was horrible. She was very dismissive, rude, and inconsiderate. She did not treat me like a patient at all. She expected me to have known everything and was annoyed when I asked her questions. She was very aggressive with me the entire visit. I did not feel comfortable at all. If you are in a rush then go see her because she finished a first visit in 15 mins. I will not be seeing her again.

I was seen by the Dr Saraiys and left feeling lousy. She was dismissive, inconsiderate, and demeaning. I will not return.

Extremely rude doctor. I went for a check up and did an examination, she was very aggressive and will make your experience painful. If you try to aske her a question dont even think about it. I asked her a OBGYN question and her response was "How do you not know this?"

My previous OBGYN left the practice, and I was recently reassigned to Dr Swati Saraiya. Upon meeting her, I was prepared to recite my health history as I always do, upon getting a new dr. Without looking at her chart, she basically told me the highlights. I know most doctors do their research before meeting me, but it was so refreshing to hear her do that. She listened to my concerns, answered my questions, and spent a good deal of time with me. Later, on a subsequent appointment, she even asked another doctor for help, which- SO INSPIRED CONFIDENCE. I've had doctors in the past who refused to ask colleagues for help, or request second opinions. I even had one egotistical general practitioner who yelled at me for requesting a specialist. Dr. Saraiya was WONDERFUL. She was incredibly knowledgeable, and helpful, did not have an ego, and was very friendly and professional. I definitely appreciate and recommend her.

The front desk staff and nurses are great ! The wait time for the office is perfect! BUT THIS doctor doesn't seem to take your concerns seriously. The doctor that I want to see is always booked. And unsurprisingly, THIS doctor always have multiple appointments available. I'll take my chances going to a new practice before going back to her.

Very bad experience with Dr. Saraiya. In all my visits, she spent the time accusing and asuming things about the patient rather than treating the issue. If you tell her you have pain, she will tell you that you are lying or you have been doing something wrong. At one time, she even suggested my husband having STD, without even doning the first basic diagnosis like ultrasound. I usually deal with her for emergency appointments when my Dr. is not available, but I'm going to leave the practice.
