Dr. Swetha Kandula, MD

The front desk receptionist needs a customer service class. Very rude!I went to office for full body skin check . The first year I went exam was very rushed and sub par ( I am a health care practitioner). I gave it another try this year and the same. They put you in an exam room fairy quickly, but then you stare at a wall until the doctor comes in . First visit that was 45 minutes. Next year I will be going to someone else.

My case of lymphoma was far above Dr. Kandula'a competency. To summarize: I presented with a growth on my face. She delayed the biopsy, treated me with a shot in the growth that may have made the biopsy later done useless, treated me with harsh antibiotics unnecessarily since I never had an infection but rather cancer, did not call me with results as she said she would, staff told me I couldn't be seen in less than 10 days bc that's how my insurance worked which is wrong, failed to record the correct timeline of events which I had to correct, and couldn't even send a fax to my specialists now. This unfortunate series of events is why I am waiting for surgery which could have been done earlier, when the mass was smaller (in one month its now the size of my thumb), leaving less scarring with a smaller skin graft. Doctors and nurses I've been to since transitioning from her care have expressed sincere empathy for the circus ring that was her practice. WASTE OF TIME I WILL NEVER GET BACK.

I dont know based on what she received 4 stars or 5 stars review. I visited her office twice and in both of my visits she couldnt understand the skin problems I had. Besides that in my second visit two randam practitioner nurses were also present in the room without my consent while she was screening my whole body. Inside of focusing on the real problems they were more into giving me deals for micro-needling. She gave me a useless ointment for yeast infection which made it worse but never cured. Every time I went about skin issues she said well maybe b/c of COVID or whatever but never actually understood or diagnosed the problems. Didnt explain to me what to do about the pigmentations nor helped me in anyway.... WORSE WORSE dermatologist. If you are experiencing a real skin issue, dont waste your time here, go find another Dr that would actuall help you

I went to Dr. Kandula to treat my melasma and I was very pleased with the results that now I rarely use makeup. All the staff was very friendly.

They were more worried about obtaining a copy of your credit card to leave on file (even if you have no co-pay) than what you are there for. I was the first appointment of the morning at 8:30 when they opened and it still took her 40 minutes to see me. She never looked at or addressed the issue that my GP had sent me to see her for, even after I reminded her twice that my GP had sent her photographs. She froze two tiny tags, told me to have a nice day and off she went. She probably spent a total of 5 minutes with me. I do not recommend Dr. Kandula.

I brought my grandfather there for his appointment and he will never be returning. First, it took over an hour to be seen, which was frustrating but understandable. The least the dr. could have done was be friendly, or apologize for the wait. Nothing. She barely said a word, watched my grandfather struggled to remove his shirt without offering to help, didn't ask him any questions, or offer any conversation. No bedside manner whatsoever, and spent a total of 5 minutes with him. We entrust these professionals with the lives of our loved ones, with fairly reasonable expectations- that you provide a kind bedside manner and you make the patient feel like they have been cared for. None of this happened at this office. Extremely disappointing and unacceptable.

I am sure that Dr. Kandula is a very knowledgeable doctor, but I was very taken aback and disappointed by her rude bedside manner. In a time very I was feeling very vulnerable and looking to understand more, she did very little to mitigate my worry. She was very condescending and patronizing in her answers to any questions I asked and I felt like I was wasting her time. She seemed more concerned with proving herself right than providing care for her patient. I would not recommend Dr. Kandula to anyone.

Dr Kandula found my melanoma on my first visit. I would like to thank her for the guidance in getting me though this last month. She is right on time for your appointment. She is very efficient, has a friendly personality. Her office staff is great also. I will recommend her practice to everyone. Thank you Dr Kandula!

Very quick and cursory exam. Did not feel that she listened to my questions or concerns.
