Amazing compassionate and knowledgeable
My mother was his patient at Valley Medical because she was not safe at the skilled nursing facility she was at. Dr. Cousins listened, took action and renewed my faith in humanity all within the 3 or 4 hours my mother was in his care. He surprised me with his assessment from his observation in addition to the lab and imaging results. He explained his plan, asked for input and surprised me when things went exactly like he explained. I wish ALL doctors were like him.

Doctor is oncall at hospital I am at. He has never seen me. Refuses to come down and see me. But is denying me meds for a swollen tounge and back injury. What kind of doctor won't see their patient when oncall but just deny care?

Dr. Cousin is a hospitalist at Valley Medical Center. His demeanor is condescending. He talked down to me as a patient. He likes to hear himself talk, but doesn't pay attention to anything that's being said to him. Unfortunately as a patient in the hospital, I had no choice as to the physician who saw me, but I would not recommend him to anyone.
