When I was dx'd with stage 3B nsclc he didn't give up on me when others had. 20 years later I'm still here.

I was going to this doctor simply because I was trying to find a local place to do chemotherapy. My primary doctor had already worked out the treatment plan and spoke to this office. They agreed to follow it but then lied and tried to push me to do unnecessary tests before agreeing to do the chemotherapy. My primary doctor said that there was no reason to do these tests. Then this doctor’s office canceled saying my insurance didn’t cover. What is funny is that my insurance carrier said that they were indeed in network and tried to call to explain this five times. But there never would call back. The funniest part is that they had charged me in network prior. I called the CEO and he said that he was going to fix it for future patients and apologized for the horrible experience and mistake. I am now traveling for chemo, but doing well. Don’t regret it.

Dr. Welt is an amazing oncologist who treated me almost 20 years ago when other doctors told me I was hopeless. He makes no promises but just does what he does best.
