Dr. Syed-Bilal Ahmed, MD

Dr. Ahmed immediately welcomed me with an open hand as soon as the door to my room opened. I felt so at ease when he said 'Tell me about you'. His knowledge and being so thorough went far beyond what I have seen in so many doctors. Dr. Ahmed took his time to make sure there was nothing that he had not covered. Finally, I know that I have an internist who is going to make my life a lot healthier. It made him happy that I brought him my complete medical history, test results and lab work. Central Florida Medical Associates can perform lab tests, xrays, etc. right there. How convenient! I highly recommend Dr. Ahmed to anyone needing a primary doctor or internist.

He is not my doctor, but my MIL's. It took a full month for his office staff to fax over important paperwork to the assisted living facility that he insisted she be put into!! Extremely frustrating not only for my MIL who needed this paperwork so that the facility could administer her meds but also for the family who all live out state and trying to deal with this.

Dr Ahmed has been my doctor since the 1990's. He is patient, kind and thorough. My thyroid, for example is finally operating as it should after years of different doctors and partial treatments. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a quality doctor!

The worst Dr I ever had. Would not recommend to anyone. I have serious medical issues, he promised to do short term disability paper work, I brought in numerous supporting docs in Oct, many phone calls, office visits, he kept saying he will do he never did. He flat out lies, said he did it, I asked for a copy and nowhere to be found, they said they lost it. I went to 1 of my specialist they did it with no problem. My issues still going on in Jan. & needed an extension, brought in more supporting docs, He would not do the paperwork & said to get a new primary dr. I could have lost my job & benefits because he would not help me & look after me. The worst Dr I ever had.

Dr. Ahmed took care of my mom. He was very personable and took the time to call me and speak with me about her condition and treatments. His staff is always polite, courteous and friendly.

Dr AHMED cared for my mother, my mother-in- law and now is my doctor. He’s thorough, thoughtful and passionate about helping his patients.

Kind, Caring, Knowledgeable Physician. Never rushes you in and out.

I have been seeing Dr. Ahmed for a very, very long time and he is friendly and kind. Unlike other doctors that I've been too, Dr. Ahmed makes you feel at ease when he visits with you and listens carefully while your talking to him and does not make you feel like you have to rush because he has to get to his next patient. He gives you the time and attention you need. The office environment is very clean and staff is very helpful and courteous.

In response to the patient who was upset about Dr. Ahmed not returning phone calls regarding her labs, I've never known him to do this via phone, but on a follow-up visit after the lab work is done. If there is a question about them at that visit, I feel it's the patient's responsibility to address them on that visit.

He was very rude, uncompassionate, arrogant, and unprofessional. I do not reccomend him. He chews his patients out and treats them like a liability that he does not want in his practice. He told me that he wanted no part of my case and that I have to find another physician. He blamed me for my health issues. Told me it was my fault that I could not control my health issues. Just not a good doctor to see if you have any feelings or human emotion at all.

Dr. Ahmed is very thorough and professional. He takes his time to explain the reason for his orders and reviews test results in a manner you can understand. I would highly recommend this physician.

I was seen by Dr Ahmed and overall he seemed to be a decent and intelligent doctor, however when it came to going over labs/test results for a potentially serious condition he never returned my phone calls, the receptionist handed me a copy of my labs before anyone ever told me about them, so needless to say I had radiography reports and 6 different bloodwork panel results with no explanation.. I am shocked at the lack of communication between medical professional and patient this office has.
