Worst medical provider in Albany Medical Center
Hands down the most condescending, arrogant and rude medical provider I have ever met in my life. I was admitted for less than 12 hours before he cut all my medication dosing in half and then just walked into my room unannounced and told me he was kicking me out and stopping all medications that i desperately needed to bring my pain back under control. He wouldn’t let me talk and when he did he completely ignored what I said and got defensive when I started getting irritated because he just kept repeating what he was going to do when I told him it hasn’t been working. He didn’t do any kind of medical evaluation or assessment, and when i advocated for myself and called patient relations and the nursing manager to appeal the discharge because I was admitted for pain control when my home medications weren’t enough. I tried to tell him that if I were to be discharged I’d end up back in the ER and he said “do that”. So much more to say but at the end of his shift he took my medications agai

My Father suffered and died on his watch
This summer (2023), my Father was admitted to Albany Medical Center due to an aggressive case of Pancreatic Cancer. HIs decline was swift. Many fine doctors with their own specialites offered to provide their services to help decode the situation. The ONE person who is in charge of dissecting the information of specialists is the Hospitalist. Dr. Saeed failed over and over again to guide my family through the process of understanding the medical options and in fact, chastised us for bringing in end of life care into the discussion. Dr. Saeed made once visit a day. Often late in the day and was not available for follow ups. If he is your doctor, make sure to take the process into your own hands. You will have to fight to take care of your loved one. The nursing staff was amazing and they will want to take care of your loved one, but they can only do so much, as they are shackled by an doctor who has forgotton the patient, and only seems to care for the paycheck.

Untrustworthy doctor
This doctor entered my room at AMC and began to argue with my husband and I while telling lies about the care and treatment he did and did not provide. Then, he contracted himself and made a passive excuse for his behavior. He is not trustworthy at all. Do not allow yourself or a loved one to be treated by him. Request a different doctor!!!

Dr. Saeed was more concerned with getting my family member out of the hospital than addressing medical and psych issues directly related to the emergency/seizure. Family member was in the hospital for 6 days. Upon discharge, we found that Dr. Saeed only sent two of the seven medications he prescribed to the pharmacy. The pharmacist tried to help, Dr Saeed didn't respond. Now my family member is without the majority of his meds while the family tries to get them asap (family member is restricted from driving and not mentally capable of taking this on). The ICU doctors and nurses at AMC were great. If you get discharged to a less intensive floor with Dr. Saeed don't expect him to go the extra mile.

1 star is to good he is a Horrible "Doctor" He is arrogant, if you question him on things he has said wrong he insists it is a misunderstanding. Confused my family member with another patient and almost ordered him the wrong meds (narcotic). When asked to change my family members pain meds due to confusion he wrote orders for same med. My family members condition has worsened since he has taken over as the Hospital Internist. He has been reported to patient relations. Soon to be reported to DOH

Confused family member with another patient and was going to approve a narcotic drug that wasn't necessary. Tells completely different story about your health status than the surgeon/specialist. Reported him to patient relations.

I can’t in good conscience give Dr. Saeed even one star. I would never recommend him to anyone. My condition worsened each day under his care, until a life threatening event moved me to CCU where I received top notch care every step of the way!

Dr. Saeed is very arrogant and doesn't view patients as people. He has not been practicing long enough to know as much as he thinks he does. I would not recommend him to anyone.
