Dr. Shahkhan was very detailed and explained everything.

My husband and I highly recommend Dr.Shahkhan . We will always be grateful for my GP's referral to his office. I have had a complicated neurological condition for years. From the start, I have found him to be kind and patient. He is consistently attentive and understanding to my concerns.At the time of my first visit to the Noran Clinic , I'd grown weary of ineffective treatments and reached a point where I believed that experiencing relief from my neurological symptoms had become hopeless and I'd be forced to remain mostly housebound and unable to function. Thanks to the care Dr. Shahkhan provides,I now live a much,more active life than I'd thought possible. I have found,each report of discomfort,or difficulty with balance or vision taken seriously, and addressed without delay. His willingness to try newly approved options and battle our insurance company for coverage has given me many more pain-free days and allowed me to return to travel,volunteer work,and my online classes.

I am so great full to have Dr. Shahkhan as my neurologist. He diagnosed me on my first visit and gave me a treatment plan; that was about 4 yrs ago. I continue to see him every 10 weeks for injections. My symptoms are minimal with treatment. I trust Dr. Shahkhan with my neurological care and I have already referred friends and family to him.

Dr. Shahkhan took his time to address all my symptoms, concerns, and questions. He made sure I understood all my reports, and results. I felt guilty after going on tangents, but he made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. He was on time for all of my visits and provided a good plan for my condition. His plan is extremely helpful till today. I trust his medical expertise and would highly recommend Dr. Shahkhan

I've rarely seen a doctor with poorer bedside manner. At the end of my study I asked about the results. He refused to discuss them with me. The results were sent to a neurosurgeon, who read Dr. Shahkan's report. The neurosurgeon asked if if he was aware of the symptoms I was having, because the finding didn't address most of my symptoms. The surgeon said he could not, in good faith, do surgery on Dr. Shahkan's diagnosis and immediately referred me to a different neurologist with a different Neurology group. Depending on the results of the second opinion, I may report Dr. Shahkan to the state medical board for review of his licensure.

It was an uneventful initial visit after 5 years since I have seen him. I wish he wasn't so far away
