Dr. Syllette King, MD

One of the worst doctors I’ve ever seen. She’s rude, insensitive and has absolutely no empathy. At all! Please go elsewhere if you want to be properly CARED for

I have been seeing Dr. King for 8 yrs now. I went to her office because my PCP have been doing my pap yearly but after having my 2 girls back to back I stopped having a period and my PCP told me after 2 yrs of me complaining about not having a period and other symptoms that it's tiredness from having my girls a year apart, so I went to Dr. King for a second opinion and she sent me right away to get a MRI which showed that I had 2 brain aneurysms. So Dr. King literally saved my life, I have learned that my grandma died in her 40s from aneurysm and we found my aneurysms at 40 my neurosurgeon did my stenting immediately. This Dr. listened to me and knows what she's doing. I live 2 hours away and I still drive yearly to see her, she's the best.

Dr. King was extremely judgemental and unprofessional. She gave me the most painful pap smear I've ever had and disregarded me when I said it hurt. She not only questioned how I have sex, but she also commented on my stomach/weight saying I'm supposed to eat that much "after the baby, not before." She told me I shouldn't be on birth control. I thought as a medical professional she would know that birth control does much more then prevent pregnancy... All in all she spent about 5 minutes with me.

Doctor King has been my Ob/Gyn for over 21 years. She’s an amazing doctor her best quality is that she is more than just a Doctor she is compassionate and cares for her patients. There’s little wait time. The office is always neat and clean. Same day appointments are usually available. Doctor King is awesome. ????

Brought my girlfriend to this location to get tested as required by my insurance. Doctor spend sat at most a few minutes, says the insurance will cover the test and now I recieved a bill of $700. This clinic is trash and does not know your insurance policy, and will charge you wrongly for it. I have called various occasions and now the doctor is not reaching out to me when she was suppose to 2 weeks ago, if this keeps up I will speak to her in person for this misleading information.

I have never been to a more unprofessional office. DO NOT GO THERE. I came in for a yeast infection on a Tuesday and I was told that I would get my results on friday and they would call me. I called them Friday and left a message, no answer. Called on Monday, no message. Finally I hear back on Tuesday, and the doctor is out of town for 6 MORE DAYS! No one even gave me the courtesy to tell me. Also they refuse to give test results over the phone so you have to come in AGAIN. DO NOT GO THERE.

I went for my annual check up and needed to go back in for a biopsy. When I showed up the first time for the biopsy they didn't bother to contact me to let me know that they didn't receive the requested referral until I showed up for the appointment. We rescheduled and got the referral straightened out. I showed up for the rescheduled appointment, for the doctor to inform me that she couldn't do the procedure because she didn't have the staff avalible to preform it. VERY unprofessional.

I am will not return to Dr. King. She was opinionated and although her advice might have been warranted she knew nothing about me or my past. I had other questions and she rushed me out of the office. I would not recommend her to anyone. I left feeling worse about my situation.

I went to Dr King when I was 16 and pregnant with my first child. It was my first time seeing a gynocologist. She taught and cared for me as a mother. She delivered my first 2 children by c-section due to the abnormal uterus I have. I moved out of town but I do miss having her guidance and care.
