Dr. Tad Dewald, MD

I had an Achilles rupture. I saw him after my accident. He said he sees these all the time and didn’t do an MRI. He sent me to PT where I had no improvement. I went to an orthopedic surgeon and that doctor did an MRI and did surgery. I’m on the correct recovery path right now. Dr. Tad Dewald didn’t help me at all. He delayed my repair and recovery by 6 months.

Gentle with needle. I couldn’t move my arm w/o pain. He performed a shoulder lavage and it was 80% improved immediately. Wonderful results.

Dr. DeWald is a keeper. Great visit, with treatment solving my knee problem. Day one back at the gym and I’m feeling pretty good. Could not have done that without Dr. DeWald. Thank you.

Dr. DeWald and his staff listened to what I had to say. I felt like I had a say in how I wanted my condition treated. And was able to schedule my upcoming procedure at a time that was convenient for me. All of my questions were answered. I left my appointment feeling it confident in my healthcare.

I liked Dr Dewald immediately. He was very warm, friendly and professional. After explaining my symptoms and checking the X-rays, we came up with a course of action we could both live with. I was very happy with the outcome and walked away with a brace on my knee. When I need Dr Dewald again, it’s good to know he is only a phone call away to help with any problem that might arise.

I was in need of cortisone shots in both knees ... and my doctor, Dr. Slagis, had retired. I kept putting it off ... and putting it off ... And then I just HAD to have help. I was leery of seeing a new doctor, but became more and more relaxed and less and less reluctant as he introduced himself and his nurse and thoroughly explained what he was doing and what other treatments were available as they became necessary (I'm OLD and things fall apart). Tucson Orthopedic has been a Tucson medical treasure ... and it just keeps getting better.

Dr Dewald is super easy to talk to and very friendly. He explains thing well and gives you all your options. The wait was minimal and with in-office x-rays, the whole experience was efficient and smooth. I will definitely stick with him for my orthopedic problems.
