First I will say that I dont normally leave reviews. With that being said, I feel that this doctor stands out so much that people need to know about him. I started with Dr. El-Shahat around the beginning of the year due to insurance changes. I was very nervous to start with a new doctor as I have multiple issues and I kind of embarrassed to share my health concerns. I met with him the first time and the first thing that stood out was that he really listened. I knew that in order to make this work I needed to open up and be honest about my health concerns. When I shared everything he was very knowledgeable and I didn't feel judged or lesser of a person because of the health concerns I shared or my daily habits. He really heard me out and gave me his suggestions. I started what he had suggested and he saved my life. He and his team of nurses go above and beyond. He is hands down the best doctor I have ever seen.

My fiancé suffers from ADHD & has all of the symptoms of someone with adult ADHD. I have encouraged him to seek help for years.He saw this doctor for the first time for a yearly physical and expressed his issues with concentration, etc.. After talking to him for five minutes, the doctor said he didn’t have ADHD and wouldn’t prescribe him a first line medication. He told my fiancé he could “shop around”. That is very rude & a terrible thing for a doctor to say to someone seeking help.
