Dr. Tahmina Ahmad, DO

My Doctor retired a little over a year ago, leaving very large shoes to fill. He had been my Doctor for over 20 years and I drive the distance for great care. In the past year my health has come full circle with issues that have required more visits in one year than the past 5. I had Basil Cell cancer 25 years ago and recently had a new cyst that grew rather quickly. My Doctor referred me to a Dermatologist but it wasn’t until I got there I learned an area of concern that was being checked. I had been watching it myself and didn’t think it had changed. As it turns out, a referral and notation of the area of concern may have saved my life, but at very least saved me from a future battle with melanoma . When I got to the Dermatologist, they explained this needs to be checked first. When I went back for the removal of the Cyst I was provided the test results and was told it was a very nasty mole, removed in time that it didn’t cause damage. A great Doctor is truly a blessing.
