Dr. Raviv did my left eye cataract surgery. He did an amazing job! I have perfect vision and no issues at all. Just a few hours after the procedure, it felt like I didn't have a procedure at all, except that my vision was 20 20. He spent a lot of time with me prior to the procedure discussing my options for new lenses. He took into consideration my daily needs, such as hours per day of reading; hours per day playing guitar; distance needs, etc. I wish he could be my doctor from head-to-toe. Don't go to anyone else. I highly recommend him.

Most importantly, Drs. Raviv and Sherman are outstanding physicians- totally at ease with the latest technologies and experts at their craft. They were able to obtain results better than they even expected. I went from a minus 1200 prescription/with progressive lenses for reading to not needing glasses using the light adjustable lenses recommended by Dr. Raviv. My first appointment to see Dr. Raviv was consultation for cataracts. His office is very efficient and pristine, the staff excellent, the technicians highly skilled so all machines were easy, and Dr. Raviv very straight forward and to the point, explaining everything carefully, so no questions remained. The procedure we chose for both eyes was Refractive Cataract: One Focus Vision - Med/High Astigmatism. I did the procedure for both eyes, six days apart. I found the surgical center (E80 St.) as efficient, skilled, and caring as Dr. Raviv's office. Dr. Raviv was wonderful in terms of caring and explaining what would be happening; and the procedure was painless. I left the center knowing exactly what my eye would feel like and what I needed to do later that day. The only advice I would offer is for someone doing both eyes: be sure to meet with Dr. Raviv after the first eye, to determine specifics for the other eye. Dr. Raviv is excellent, highly skilled, and clear in communication.

I put off cataract surgery in my left eye until I could no longer read. Everything around me had taken on a hazy golden glow. And my progressive eyeglasses were of no help. Nearly everyone in my neighborhood recommended Dr Tal Raviv with high praise. I can’t believe I waited so long! Dr. Raviv and his team were extraordinary. First, I was impressed with the open, immaculate office. The preliminary process is so thorough and streamlined. The women who led me through it were warm and friendly but highly professional. Everyone took great pride in their work. Dr Raviv explained everything clearly and gave me several options based on what my eyes needed. An appointment was scheduled within a week. The women at the surgery center were gracious and attentive. I felt pampered and very relaxed. I looked into an instrument, there was a sparkling light show, and it was over. Quick. Clean. Painless. Immediately, everything I saw was sharp and vivid. This place is a rare find!

Dr. Raviv and his staff are professional and courteous. The brochure I received was well done and very informative. During my initial visit staff members conducted various tests proficiently but gently; Dr. Raviv clearly explained what needed to be done; and the surgical coordinator scheduled the surgeries I needed and outlined the measures required prior to the procedures. Dr. Raviv personally performed the surgery. I experienced no discomfort and my vision has improved dramatically. The followup visits with Dr. Raviv's associates were very reassuring. I would definitely recommend Dr. Raviv and his practice.

After many months and one week before cataract surgery I learned I needed a surgeon who could handle potential complications because I had a very dense cataract. Dense cataract removal requires a surgeon whose advanced surgical skills would lead to the best results. I was scared and felt lost in a sea of information without a life jacket to help me steer the waters. I sent an email to a world renowned cataract expert out in Los Angeles, and I was blessed when he recommended Dr. TAL RAVIV as an expert in complex cataract surgery who is right here in New York city. After I explained my situation I saw him the next day and a week later I had the surgery. Due to his skills my surgery was a complete success. I had the benefit of the latest and most technologically advanced cataract surgery thanks to Dr. Raviv. I am grateful I learned about him prior to my surgery. I just had cataract surgery with Dr. Tal Raviv, yesterday, and I strongly endorse his work. Thanks to his exceptional strategy, experience, and skill, I am now enjoying 20/20 vision without glasses for the first time in 40 years. His surgery not only removed my cataract but also resolved the astigmatism which negatively impacted my vision. Cataract surgery on left eye... instead of waking in 15 min, I didn't come out of anesthesia until an hour later. Distant vision outcome was good.Cataract surgery on right eye. Dr Raviv put numbing drops on eye. Dr. Raviv was in the room, talking to colleagues, waiting for numbing to take affect. I was awake the entire time, during the surgery. The day after surgery, my vision was excellent. Then... vision slowly deteriorated in next 1-2 weeks. An eight second YAG laser zap was done. No improvement. I was sent home with vision still blurred. Now, a few years later, I'm back to wearing glasses.The staff is fine. The waiting space is clean and bright. The back rooms are filled with many different eye testing equipment. You move from one machine to another to get tested. After all the tests, you get to see Dr. Raviv.

Dr. Raviv's calm, supportive manner puts patients at ease. He explains things clearly and answers all questions. Most importantly, the cataract surgery has made a world of difference to my vision.

It is so amazing I can see everything so clear without glasses. Dr. Raviv replaced the Symfony OptiBlue EDOF IOL for my both eyes. At meantime Dr. Raviv corrected my astigmatism. Now I need to get used to not wear glasses that I wore since I was in middle school. Dr. Tal Raviv is an incredible ophthalmic surgeon super-specializing in cataract surgery. He leverages the latest in technological developments in the area of intraocular lens implants and the use of laser during surgery. I was very anxious about having my cataract surgery done, and in my first meeting with Dr. Raviv itself, he put me at ease. He radiated confidence in an understated way. There was not a bit of arrogance in the way he engaged with me, but it was clear he was one of the best in his field from the way he examined and then guided me on what was needed. A few days later he operated on me, and implanted a monofocal lens in my right eye. The surgery was not uncomfortable, and I walked out of the operating theater with clearer vision in my right eye!
