She gets it
My last doctor shooed off my concerns and I literally felt I was a number. Dr. O’Neal was friendly and actually took time to explain things so that I understood and provided options which were never offered before. Wait times are about average - definitely could be better but I understand it’d take time from other patients. I feel a lot more comfortable with her than any other doctor I’ve seen. Most of the nursing and medical support staff are ok however some front desk employees leave EVERYTHING to be desired. Unprofessional & incompetent - they make this location look very bad. Especially since I have to travel across town to get there. I won’t abandon Dr. O’Neal for it but I will provide feedback so the bad apples are replaced.

My Horrific Experience
I had two sons delivered by Dr. O’Neal, in June of 2019 she delivered my stillborn daughter. The experience was horrific, terrifying, shameful, and disheartening. In the midst of surgery, Dr. O’Neal performed the ceserean through my same scar that I had surgery performed on when my two sons were delivered. During that surgery, she cut through the skin wall of my stomach leaving a hole through it that leaked fluid constantly after the surgery was done. I’ve never had to be put to sleep for a surgery, but I did that day because she had to call the general surgeons to come and help her repair the mistake she had made. Before you know it I had a slew of infections, I had to have another surgery a week later where my small intestine was going into my bowel. I had to wear a wound vac that took them three weeks to install on me after a nurse mentioned that I needed one at the very beginning. It’s literally so much that happened I’m running out of characters to even explain. This has to be ack

Disappointing
All of my appointments seemed rushed. It's my first pregnancy so I had a lot of questions and wanted to remember my experience. I ended up finding another doctor because I know my baby and I deserve better.

Dr. O'Neal was great at my appointments before surgery and my first Post-Surgery. The problem lies solely with her Triage Nurse. She is overall rude, condescending and acts like she is the doctor by diagnosising you over the phone, when she is only a nurse. She doesn't always relay information to Dr. O'Neal so beware and follow up. Dr. O'Neal gets 5 stars and Triage Nurse gets 0 stars.
