Exceptional in every way
There are so-called “endo-specialists” and then there is Dr. Seckin. To say that he is an expert is insufficient, as his knowledge and passion for this debilitating disease exceeds that of any other. Upon my first consultation, he and his staff greeted me with open arms. In the minutes we started talking about my case, my decision to have surgery with him had been made. You will not find a man more passionate, dedicated, obsessed, and empathetic regarding this disease. That’s just a fact. I want to say this and stress this because this is where the magic happened. The second I woke up in recovery, I immediately felt all of my endo pain gone. All of it. I will also note that my post-op pain, which was primarily soreness, was managed solely with non-narcotic medication. That in itself shows me the caliber of surgical technique that Dr. Seckin possesses. What amazes me is that while he is a man, his empathy for pain that essentially can only be felt by a woman is astounding.

Traumatic experience
My experience with Dr. Seckin was abysmal. One of the most traumatic doctor’s appointments I’ve ever had. Because of him, I went untreated for endo for many, many years and developed frozen pelvic and severe complications. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone.

HOLY AMAZING SURGEONS!!
DR. SECKIN, DR DRONSKY, DR SHTEYNBERG, AND DR. GOLDSTEIN SAVED MY LIFE!!!! DR SECKIN PUT THIS TEAM TOGETHER FOR ME IN 2 days!! PLEASE READ!! I fought abdominal adhesions, endometriosis, fibroids, Crohn’s/IBS for 30 years!!All hope was lost.I already had 5 previous surgeries (2 c-sec, hysterectomy & bladder repair, 2 hernia repairs). After those surgeries,my tummy had grown like I was pregnant-which was impossible. I was gaining weight without eating. I couldn’t breathe because my tummy was crowding my lungs. Most surgeons won’t go near abdominal adhesions because of the risk of more adhesions BUT I NEEDED HELP! I didn’t think Dr Seckin could help me until I read another review that sd Dr Seckin had operated & helped a woman even after a hyst because endometriosis can continue to grow if not completely removed. I went to NYC to make sure I had the best & most experienced surgeons. Dr Seckin & Dr Goldstein (BEST ENDO SURGEONS EVER)had my charts before my appt. See continued

BEST SURGEONS FOR ENDOMETRIOSIS AND SO MUCH MORE
I cannot express enough thanks to Dr. Seckin, Dr. Goldstein and Dr. Chu. If you have Endometriosis, please read this review. There are a few critical things I must explain. Dr. Seckin’s office is the ONLY solution. There are so many doctors that will say they have a solution, but the only way to take control of this disease is with the Dr Seckin team. They understand endometriosis best because they have dedicated their professions to Endo. This isn't some gynecologist office who claims to do excision surgery, while doing all other gynecology tasks. After going through two failed surgeries, I know. I finally went to Seckin and the team and expertise is like no other. My surgery was perfect. They left no stone unturned. They worked together as a team, so the surgery was efficient, precise and thorough. After surgery the care was impeccable. Offering real solutions for continuing care, like no one else. Where can you go and get the expertise and care of three surgeons? Do not settle!

I'm so Grateful for Dr. Seckin
I'm convinced that Dr. Seckin and the team at the Endometriosis center saved my life. I have been in extreme debilitating pain for years. Dr. Seckin and the team were warm, caring, empathetic, and knowledgeable. It was almost as if they could tell me about my pain and symptoms better than I could explain. I am recovering from surgery now. I am so grateful that I reached out to the Seckin Endometriosis Center. I would highly recommend all of the doctors at the center. To any woman with stage 4 endometriosis, please reach out to Dr. Seckin.

Lack of bedside manner is one thing—this doctor is flatout cruel. I would not send my worst enemy to see him. I cannot fathom why he is top-rated. He does not listen and is incredibly abrasive and insensitive. Avoid him like the plague.

It is not an exaggeration to call this man a monster. He is insensitive, cold and dismissive. I left in tears after a routine visit—one that cost almost $900. He is overrated, overpriced, arrogant and horrible. I've never been to a worse doctor in my life.

From day one, it was clear that Dr Seckin, Dr. Goldstein and the team at Seckin Endometriosis Center cares deeply about their patients. Unfortunately, that has not always been the case when dealing with years of endometriosis pain. I had a laparoscopy in 2015 where it was determined I had stage four endometriosis. I was able to conceive and have my baby boy- grateful! After I stopped nursing him, I started to get intense pain and bleeding in between periods. I had a hard time going to work as a Massage Therapist, playing with my son, being romantic with my husband and I could barely commit to having social plans because I never knew if my pelvic area would cooperate. It has been a long journey and I was ready to end the cycle of birth control, different doctors and opinions. I just couldn't imagine doing this for years to come. In 2012 I learned about Dr. Seckin while doing some research. At the time, I was 28 and just began dating my now husband. I mentioned to him how gr

From the very first call to Dr. Seckin's office, I was greeted warmly, with a caring and knowledgeable voice on the other side of the phone who explained every step of the process. Even in filling out the initial intake paperwork, I've never (finally) felt more understood, as the intake paperwork brought together all of the various areas of suffering I've endured, as part of the comprehensive picture of endometriosis. Dr. Seckin and Dr. Goldstein themselves are some of the most professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate doctors, and skilled surgeons, I've ever had the experience of being around (and I train medical doctors for a living, so I've seen my fair share!). They have helped to change my life immensely, by fully understanding my case, my symptoms, and performing an intensive and complex surgery that has since taken away any pain I've experienced, including multiple other symptoms. They check-in, and truly care about their patients. I am so grateful.

Dr Seckin is a life saver. I had been frustrated with the treatment I had received from my Gynecologist before I decided to thoroughly research the top nyc drs that treat endometriosis. When I found his page, I felt like the practice knew exactly what I had been dealing with over the past 15 years to boot. I’ve already referred a number of women to his office. Not only was he extremely caring and attentive, he did a great job taking time with me to explain what I was experiencing and to help me realize I wasn’t alone in what I was facing I had my laparoscopic surgery in February right before Covid-19 he and his team continued to check in on me virtually until it was safe to come into the office. I experienced minor issues post surgery and he helped me figure out that the issues weren’t related to the surgery but a change in medicine post surgery. He and Dr Goldstein have a great dynamic and the staff are super attentive and amazing. I’d highly recommend him.

Need to say something, I was seen twice by this surgeon, twice told he would do a surgery, it took up a year of my life and $2400, I was in and out of multiple ERs on top of that. I finally was forced to take what got offered by another surgeon, this surgeon left unfixed issues so I never recovered. I lost my home, I now have adhesions that are forming the start of fistulas into my bladder and bowels and no one is helping me, this man even demanded I see his referred psychiatrist so now Im battling a falsified anxiety that led into Baker Act cash ins during UTI infections they ignore which cause horrific pain. I dont even have anxiety, but it overrides my health issues making it extremely difficult to be heard. Im suffering a nightmare. Im close to being homeless as I dont qualify for low income housing and cant work from extreme chronic pain. No patient deserves that, no one. I feel tricked, manipulated and flat out lied to.

Dr. Seckin should try to be human and give up the hype rock star wannabe stupidity. Find another doctor. This one is gaming the system performing what he calls periodic "tune up surgeries." Horrible, horrible physician. Just awful. Don't kid yourself. He doesn't care about you or any other patient.

I can't say enough how grateful I am that I had my surgery with Dr. Seckin and Dr. Goldstein. I was misdiagnosed for years and couldn't find a doctor that understood my symptoms (gastro, urinary, etc). Dr. Seckin and Dr. Goldstein genuinely cared about my past experiences and created a surgical plan to support my long term health. They answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable about every step of the process. After a 5 hour surgery and several week recovery, I am feeling great and my scars are tiny. I recommend this team to anyone struggling with endometriosis. They have changed my life forever.

Dr. Seckin you are God's gift to the universe. You are my angel. Dr. Seckin had brought me back to life. There are many doctor that stated that they can treat endometrosis but they do not. I believe you are the only doctor that understand and treat the sickness. For those you rate 1 without leaving a comment can not be his patient and it does not hold ANY substance. If you have painful period, heavy bleeding, and sharp pain appears out the blue, have to call out of work or cancel plans with friends please call Dr. Seckin you will not regret it. He will take care of you and remove all endometriosis out your system. If the doctor you are seeing does not exam your entire body to see if the endometriosis travel ( trust me it can. it happen to me) run out of his/her office and call Dr. Seckin ASAP.

I have struggled with unexplained infertility for 5 years and went through multiple rounds of failed IVF treatments . I was always told my infertility was "unexplained", that is until I met Dr. Seckin and Dr. Goldstein. In interviews alone, Dr. Goldstein was able to pinpoint symptoms that no other doctor previously had. Even the diagnostic testing done in office was more informative that in all my previous years. I flew in from out of town for surgery just to be in their expert care. I tell Dr. Goldstein she is my hero! I am forever indebted to this practice for giving me the answers I had been searching for for years. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Dr.Seckin is so much more than a surgeon. His passion for helping endometriosis sufferers and determination to improve the quality of life in all of his patients is undeniable. I remember when my gynecologist first told me I needed a laparoscopy. Her exact words were "I can do the surgery, but if you were MY daughter- I'd send you to him." From the first day I met him he took the time to explain endometriosis to me since I knew little about it and answered every question my parents and I had. Before the surgery, Dr. Seckin took the time to explain everything that could happen & even went out of his way to ensure I got the room I requested for my stay. I was nervous of course, but somehow I new I was in good hands (literally). As soon as my surgery was finished, Dr. Seckin immediately ran to my parents to update them. He told them about the 40 lesions he found, the need to remove my appendix, and how terrible he felt for every woman who is suffering and not being heard. That evening,

After many failed rounds of IVF and surgeries I finally had excision surgery without Dr Seckin. The office staff was extremely helpful and compassionate. After excision surgery and seeing a new fertility specialist I was able to finally have success. My family and I are always indebted to Dr Seckin for his passion, care and for giving us our biggest dream. Thank you is never enough.

I'm well aware bedside manner isn't everything. However, my experience with Dr. Seckin and Dr. Liu raised serious concerns. Long story short, go elsewhere. There are other endo excision specialist out there, not only in NY but across the US. Short story, long: Dr. S did a very quick, rough and painful vaginal exam and vaginal ultrasound. (Hello? Am i not seeing you for pelvic pain? I personally have CONFIRMED endo). During the ultrasound, Dr. S asked me, "How attached are to your uterus?" I was shocked and didn't know what to say. He finished up, mumbled something to Dr. L and walks out. He didn't say or explain anything to me directly. Back in the office Dr. L gives me and my husband my prognosis (which wasn't good). I was in tears trying to ask questions. My husband is asking questions, too. We're both in shock trying to come up with questions, and during pauses in our questioning, Dr. L was fiddling with her smart watch and also picking lint off her shirt. On top of that, Dr. L a
