This 'doctor' should not be anywhere near anything medical, he would be a better receptionist due to his lack of empathy and bedside manner, made 0 eye contact with me, prescribe dangerous drugs that gave me occipital seizures, I was in the waiting room longer then I was in the actual office, he seems to be in a rush. In summary if you need psychological help do NOT even consider this doctor he WILL ruin your life with the medication he prescribes.

Highly educated, Cutting Edge Approach-Bi-polar
I have seen Dr. Kelly for 16 years and he is hands down the most knowledgeable psychiatrist I have ever seen and I am 63 years old. With his wisdom I have been stable for many, many years! He has written two books that are invaluable in the treatment of patients who are bipolar.

Best Psychiatrist HANDS DOWN. Dr. Kelly originally diagnosed me in 2005 with BP2 after many failed attempts by other doctors. He saved my life in more ways than one. Dr. Kelly is passionate about his purpose and cares about his patients and continues to seek new and upcoming knowledge in his field so that he can provide the best medication therapy to individuals. I only he hope he passes down his expert knowledge and passion to someone after he retires!!

Dr. Kelly helped me out of my depression and anxiety when other doctors couldn't. I had situational anxiety and depression and was struggling terribly. With a tweet of medications I was on the path back to wellness. He helped me wean off of them, but I know he is there to help me should I need it again.

I do not recommend this provider to anyone. He is clueless. Orders dangerous meds and when you have a bad side effect, like becoming legally blind, from the med, he tells you to increase it, OR Not. Thank god I stopped it. My vision still poor and I hope it improves. He runs patients through in 5 minutes, like a herd of cattle. No eye contact during the 5 minute appointment, is on his computer the entire time. A poor excuse for a doctor and especially in his supposed speciality.

This is my 2nd review bcuz I was unable to list all benefits of seeing Dr. Kelly. Oct 2015, I moved to MN, but I fly back 6-8 wks for appts. If I'm unable to make trip, Dr. Kelly will Skype with me, which is beyond beneficial. In addition, he's provided me with his personal cell phone number (in case of emergencies) & if he's unable to take the call immediately, he always returns the call within 10-15 min. Cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about Dr. Kelly and would travel further to see him!

Dr Kelly has been my son's psychiatrist for about the last seven years. Thanks to his excellent care my son not only graduated from college with honors, but has been able to maintain a career. My son moved out of Ft Collins, but travels from Denver to see him as he values his expertise. He also does Skype calls which can prove to be beneficial for some. He took the time to talk with us via phone about our second son's condition and offered some good advice. I highly recommend him!

No counseling, only offers drug treatment. Will schedule as many 15 minute appointments as he can at a cost of $80 to 'dial in' your doses. Issues a survey for you to fill out at the beginning of every appointment to diagnose your progress. Ask for a photo copy of your answers so that you can accurately diagnose yourself.
