Dr. Tammy Harvey, DO

I have insurance and have still paid 4000$ (4k$) for 10 months of treatment. The bills are never dated chronologically and do not show what services are being charged and they refuse to give a chronological breakdown of all charges when I requested so I stopped going and they are still trying to get me to pay money. Do not trust her or her staff

I was refer to see Dr Harvey after discussing my chronic allergies and sinusitis with a stranger who passionately proclaimed his allergist was the best. I had sinus infections multiple times a year and despite even having a surgery I wasn't receiving much relief but figured sure I'll give this person a try. I almost started crying during my first visit when Dr Harvey suggested blood testing and more research into why I was having chronic sinusitis issues rather than just throwing a Band-Aid on it. This is the only doctor in over 30 years that has ever tried to determine the root cause of my issues rather than just writing a script. I was so impressed and have also recommended Dr Harvey to multiple people now. This is the only doctor I have had that listens extremely intently and seems to truly understand the root cause and genuinely wants to help a person live a better quality of life rather than just having repeat patients on a consistent basis. Dr. Harvey is one of the most caring doctors I’ve ever had. She is fully invested in bettering her patients’ lives and getting them the best and most accessible care possible. She has truly changed my life and helped my lifelong asthma and allergies. After years of going to doctors, she was the one that discovered that I have an autoimmune disorder. Her staff is friendly and everyone promptly responds to emails and calls.

I've always struggled with getting sick easily, allergies, you name the weird thing to catch, and I get it! A friend recommended Dr. Harvey to me. I had never been to an allergist or immunologist before. Dr. Harvey has been AMAZING. She's the first doctor I've ever had that takes the time to listen to me, shows genuine concern, wants to get to the root cause of how I'm feeling and doesn't blow me off! This week I of course got sick. One of my normal things that happens to me every year at least once or twice a year. Something I've just learned to deal with because what else can you do. I was truly touched by Dr. Harvey's reaction when I came in to see her. I've never had a doctor tell me things like: "I'm SO glad you came in! You did the right thing! I definitely needed to see you! This is not ok and we're going to fix this!" She's truly a kind and beautiful soul, and I would truly recommend her to anyone.

My allergies and asthma have bothered me for years, and I’m finally feeling like they’re under control. I also found out the reason I’ve been sick so much and now I’m doing so much better. Dr. Harvey really cares about making you better.

She seemed to not want to take time to reassure me of my issues or answer any questions. The visit was rushed and I was left to search the internet for answers (she told me to look up my suggested allegy condition). I took a very expensive allergy test (Wednesday after the visit) and waited for a call back with my results. I called back 3 business days later (on Tuesday) for the results. No one called me back. I went online only to find out that the lab had the results posted online (on Friday; the office was open that day). I then called back on Wednesday (an hour before closing) wondering why no one had called me. I looked at my results online but didn't understand what they meant. I spoke with the receptionist, who recapped a note left by the doctor. I am still miserable and my throat keeps swelling up with almost everything I eat. There was no suggestion on how to cope or other options on treating my symptoms.I just feel like she doesn't care and another visit would waste her time.

My daughter has seen Dr. Harvey for her severe allergies and I have recently seen Dr. Harvey for my asthma. She and her staff are outstanding by offering excellent medical care with kindness & compassion. Unlike many doctors, Dr. Harvey didn't rush us. Wait times were minimal.

Dr. Harvey is the only doctor my family will be seeing, aside from well visits (as she does not offer that). Out of 6 doctors, she was able to solve the mystery of my 5 year old daughter’s chronic acute middle ear infections she suffered from for 3 years. It really wasn’t a mystery, she was the one to take the time to ensure proper testing was done so my daughter was infection and pain free. Also, helped with my daughter’s antibiotic resistance. Dr. Harvey seems to enjoy solving medical mysteries and providing relief for her patients. In January, I came to her complaining of extreme fatigue and joint pain. She thoroughly ran labs to diagnose an immunodeficiency and Rheumatic Fever. Something I was not even aware I could have had. She has tested my entire family’s (of 5) allergies, immunity, and diagnosed certain vitamin deficiencies. Her office is extremely clean, there is minimal wait time, her staff is friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend her.

It’s been a few years since I was a patient and I have moved several times for work and never found an allergist as amazing as Dr. Tammy Harvey!! Her and her team are truly the best. Anytime my allergies got out of control and I got sick she knew I had no time to wait to get better with my job and would have me feeling better in just a few days. I suffered with hives and both an internist and dermatologist did not diagnose or treat me properly. Dr. Harvey reconized my condition immediately and treated me aggressively. She went above and beyond by appealing to my health insurance for the necessary medication they initially denied. Most capable and compassionate doctor I know. I trust her 100%.

Night and day difference in health is what I achieved by visiting Dr. Harvey. She was able to diagnose and get me on a treatment plan within 2 visits and after years of ignoring allergies and asthma I feel better than I can ever remember feeling. She is compassionate, listens, and doesn't push unnecessary medication. You can see how happy she is when you improve, she genuinely cares! Staff is very nice as well. Very caring, understanding physician. Goes above and beyond the average patient care. Staff are amazing, Nurses are very friendly and welcoming.
