Hands down, the worst doctor experience I've had in my entire life. She was brusque, unkind, uncommunicative, and rude. Despite her behavior, I was polite throughout, but she made sarcastic faces and gave me annoyed looks when I asked questions. In all my years going to UCLA doctors, I've never once had a bad experience, so I was really shocked. Based on the other reviews I've read, I think she can be nice when someone has an easily diagnosable issue, but you can see her other reviews similar to mine at Healthgrades.

Worst of the Worst
25 non-checkup exams with Ophthals over the past 20 years, due to many issues in and around both eyes. I can definitively state that this was the most insufficient of all exams. Came into UCLA Jules Stein Urgent Care, on yesterday's recommendation of regular Opthal after increasing inflammation, pain, redness, change of vision, and feeling like something lodged between the orbit and eye. Onclinx did the basics, but refused my request to flip the eyelid to look for chalazion or dermoid cyst, of which I have a history, and made NO attempt to look for debris. Instead, she prescribed for the inflammation without ever finding the root cause, and shuffled me off to another department; appointment in 10 days! The most I got out of the visit was from the technician (eye pressure). I think I would have been better off going to the poorly rated emergency room of the local hospital. Hard to believe UCLA Jules Stein would employ someone of such low quality in the Urgent Care department.

Had no sympathy, treated me like absolute garbage when I was having a medical emergency. Kept rolling her eyes and talking over me when I was trying to tell her what was wrong. The worst kind of doctor. Callous, cold, uncaring. Don't go to her, you will leave worse than you were coming in.

Dr. Onclinx took my emergency symptoms seriously, and followed me closely for several weeks following my initial visit to her UCLA Jules Stein urgent care clinic. I'm alive today because of her. Her diagnostic skills, care, concern, and determination resulted in a rare cancer diagnosis that I'm certain most other doctors would've continued to ignore as a stye or allergic reaction. I absolutely cannot recommend Dr. Onclinx more highly because she is a lifesaver, literally.

Rude, aggressive, called me desperate, complained about me going into the urgent care on a Friday after I was advised by my rheumatologist to do so due to the excruciating joint pains especially during sleep. I needed the ok from the eye doctor so I can be prescribed medicine that could possibly damage my eyes, for my pains. I already was drained from crying for 3 hours I just couldn't stand up for myself at the moment. I was tolerating her like a pro.
