Dr. Tanya Danner Roberts, MD

Told her i was suffering from depression for a long time (4 years) and that it was effecting my work as i could not get motivation to get out of bed. And then feeling guilty and anxious all day when i call out of work. Asked for a reference to therapist, as i have looked into it myself many times and keep getting overwhelmed. She did not give me a reference. And said i was just lazy. That she feels that way too at times and forced herself to get up. I should try that instead. I’ve also had years of trauma, ptsd, abuse ect in my past. Really hard to find a good doctor that will take you seriously now a days. If you like feeling like a burden and shamed when you ask for help with mental illness, this is the doctor for you.

I saw Dr. Roberts video with Franciscan & felt like she would be a great doctor for me and my husband. I called to schedule an appointment 3 months ago, my appointment has been cancelled 5 times due to conflicting schedule information between her office and the central scheduling department. I got a call today cancelling my appointment that her office staff scheduled for me for the same reason again (she can only see 3 new patients a day) so they said the next available will be in AUGUST! I bet come august they would be calling me to cancel AGAIN. I said FORGET IT I will find a different doctor! This has been the most UNPROFESSIONAL experience I’ve ever had with simply scheduling a doctors appointment. Absolutely ridiculous.
