This Dr. was the hospitalist for my husband who come into the hospital a week prior because his throat was closing. He had a trait placed and spent 5 days in the ICU. She visited him 5 days later taken over for another hospitalist. My husband had not been taken all of his meds because they were hard to swallow. She told he she was sending him down for a swallow study but in the mean time she was writing out discharge paper. I received a call from the Home Health agency informing me that were delivering my husband's suctions kit. Neither I nor my husband knew he was being discharged. She never asked my husband if he could swallow his pills or if he felt safe to go home. She discharged him and and then she dissappeared and left her colleagues to receive the all of the unanswered questions. She left nothing but a bunch of confusions and she went on her way. I would not allow her to care for any of my family members, not even my pet. Terrible bedside manner.

I wish I was not limited to giving 1 star as this doctor deserves none. I was in the hospital with severe pain stemming from CRPS. She stood in the room and told me I was faking it and refused to provide pain relief. She then proceeded to reflex hammer my arm, (never to be done with CRPS). I cried for 3 hours due to agonizing pain until a kind nurse brought in a new doctor. Meanwhile my blood pressure shot to 270/117. She is the most heartless dr I have ever met. Horrible!

I very recently was in a very bad situation which, could have been far worse if it weren't for the professional and polite manner this was addressed by Dr, Pitroda. Dr Pitroda was understanding, gentle yet firm in the treatment she provided and, thanks to her I believe, I am able to be here to right this review. If the rating on this page went to 10 stars it would still not be high enough. George
