Dr. Taoufik Sadat, MD

Very curt. Doesn't like to be asked questions. Hard to understand. Waiting time is frequently 1.5 to 2 hours.

Although the wait time was long, Dr. Sadat did not rush through my appt.(He never has). He explained everything in simple terms and answered every question that I had. I like how friendly his staff is and also took both my mother and father to him, prior to their passing. Dr. Sadat had performed surgery on my right eye twice and both surgeries were successful. I will continue to see him as long as he is at the practice.

My father waited 2+ hour wait for an annual eye exam. Then after exam when he asked for his prescription for glasses he was told that would be an additional $40.00. It gets better, when I called to inquire about this practice the person I spoke with said if he ordered his glasses from their office it would only $20.00 + the cost of glasses. I have had yearly eye appointments for over 30 years and have never had to pay an additional cost to receive the prescription for my glasses. To me this sounds like this practice is preying on the elderly.

Great service and staff

Go to Dr. Sadat first if you live near Beckley. I felt like I was going blind and Dr. Sadat restored my vision after a year of going to other Ophthalmologists, Optometrists, Doctors and 4 new prescriptions for glasses. Another Ophthalmologists treated me for months for problems I didn’t have. Dr. Sadat made me a pair of computer glasses and I haven’t had double or blurred vision since. Thank You!
