Dr. Tara Hasenpflug, DO

I have been seeing Dr. H for several years now. I've never felt judged or dismissed by her. She takes the time to explain things in layman terms so it's understandable instead of throwing medical jargon at you. As someone who grew up with a fear of doctors, I'll follow Dr. H anywhere because she's the best.

I went to her today very hopeful about maybe adding her as my primary. I am not sure I have EVER experienced a more dismissive doctor. I went in practically begging for someone to listen to me and help me get to the bottom of my health issues. She told me that sometimes there are no answers (WITHOUT EXAMINING ME!) and gave me a pity referral because she had no clue what she was doing. I even told her 3 times that I had a hernia - something fixable- and she didn’t even look at it or mention it. PART of my issues are with anxiety but she made ZERO attempt and showed ZERO interest in helping me. I will never forget the visit I had today. If she took an oath to do no harm, she broke it today. She destroyed any remaining faith I had in doctors being able to help. My MIL was with me and when we left, the first thing she said was, “The only thing she knows how to do is use a stethoscope and collect a paycheck” - and my MIL is the nicest sweetest person in the world!!! I left in tears.

I have been a patient of Dr Hasenpflug's for several years. My insurance changed and I was unable to see her for about a year. Just imagine my joy when I found out I was able to see her again. I wouldn't trust my health to anyone else. I am truly blessed to have her as my primary physician!

From the first time I had an appointment with Dr H, I felt completely comfortable. She was easy to talk to and no subject was off limits. She was upfront about everything, and gave me all the information I needed.

I was looking for a new primary after not having one for several years. Dr H. Was great. Listened to me about my health and followed up when she said she would. I will continue being a patient.

She really dropped the ball with my health and the health of my newborn son. After countless attempts to communicate with her team about several issues, multiple specialists advised me to find a new pediatrician because she "clearly has no idea what she is talking about." She's the type of Doctor that uses her experiences as the benchmark to determine what a pregnancy and newborn looks like verses her own experiences, not medicine. I can't even say 'well at she was nice', because she was so condescending and dejecting. When you have three specialists tell you to ditch your PC, there is a problem. Take her advice with a grain of salt if it doesn't feel right.

Dr. H has made me unafraid to go to the doctor. She listens and takes time to explain your condition and reason for treatment she suggests. She also allows me to participate in my health care and her diagnostic skills are exemplary! I would highly recommend her and would assure you wouldn't be disappointed! Compassionate, empathetic caring and kind!

She is an awesome physician and spends time with her patients. She really cares and listens.

I've been with Dr. Hasenpflug for a few years now. Her diagnostic skills are great. Her bedside manner is second to none. She's kind. She isn't condescending. One of the best Primary care physicians I've ever had. She has made my experience with medical professionals very positive. You would be hard-pressed to find someone better in Tulsa.

Dr. H is wonderful and always treats me with the utmost respect. Became her patient on a walk-in and haven't seen anyone else since.
