I’ve been a patient of Dr.Troy for many years from my first visit I knew she’d be my Dr forever! She’s very intelligent , and kind listens to you, answers your questions love her ! Don’t hesitate to get your colonoscopy here , they make it very simple!

Dr Troy misdiagnosed a potentially life threatening condition. After months of relaying symptoms and my concerns she continued to focus on the wrong diagnosis.

Her facility is very nice and the entire staff is professional and kind. I've always had the best experience with my procedures with her. I travel quite a distance to see her because of the trust I have in her knowledge and care. I usually have some anxiety before my procedure but the staff is great at making me feel calm and cared for.

If you are hesitant to have a screening colonoscopy, you will be in great hands with Dr. Troy and her staff. Everyone from beginning to end was kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Troy came in before the procedure and after. She took the time to reassure and answer any questions.

Dr. Troy made my visit A+. She was so positive and approachable, I would recommend her 10/10 for sure! This is the only place I will go for a colonoscopy. I’m so glad I found her!

Today I saw Dr. Troy for an endoscopy; I have been nauseous and vomiting (3-4X/week) for about 3.5 months now, since I recovered from Covid. The first thing she said to me in the procedure room is that she has had many patients with this issue, and she wanted to rule out any other issues. I have been a patient of Dr. Troy's since about 2011 or 2012 (about 10-11 years), mostly for colonoscopies/endoscopies. Her offices in Northbrook have their own procedure rooms (no need to go to a hospital or surgical center), and she has a very kind, dedicated staff. Dr. Troy herself is also very kind, patient, and has a wonderful bedside manner. Included on her staff are Dieticians and Nutritionists, in case patients need to work with someone to change their diet. Dr. Troy came highly recommended by my PCP when I needed my first colonoscopy about 10 years ago. No question is too "dumb" for her, and she'll patiently walk you through it all. She wants what's best for all her patients.

I chose Comprehensive Gastrointestinal Health due to the Covid 19 test waiver and the doctor’s positive reviews. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed by the facility’s billing and operations manager who assisted Dr. Troy during the Colonoscopy procedures. I was unexpectedly informed of a required pre-procedure Covid a week before my appointment. I tried to reschedule with another facility, but my appointment would be too far so I kept the appointment with Dr. Troy Later, I received a huge bill for the Covid test and for a Anesthesiologist and found out that they ran a respiratory virus panel test instead of a Covid swab and billed for diagnostic procedures instead of screening I was nervous about having my first colonoscopy but the nurses and anesthesiologists were very efficient in prepping for the procedures. However, I was transported into the procedure room and encountered uncomfortable staff with full PPE. I was told that the PPE staff was assisting Dr. Troy wit

I have had two colonoscopy procedures performed by Dr. Tara Troy and I will continue to see her for any additional gastrointestinal needs or procedures. I went outside of my normal health network just so I could have the second colonoscopy performed by her. She and her staff are extremely courteous, professional and helpful. I would recommend to anyone to use both Dr. Troy and GI Health.

Dr. Troy is remarkable! She is thorough, caring, extremely knowledgeable, kind and a doctor of the highest quality! I had the absolute best experience - the scheduled procedures were done successfully and Dr. Troy and her team were absolutely top notch! Dr. Troy is professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. She was clear and concise in her verbal report after my colonoscopy. Her recall of my history was comforting. The written report was clear and thorough and easily understood as the patient. Overall the best provider and facility experience! From my first call to schedule to my discharge from procedure, the team of staff and insructions given were excellent and detailed. The prep emails and outlines of what to do and when to do them, were the extra mile of care that I have not had before.

I am super pleased with my colonoscopy experience. I felt I was in good hands the entire time. Before my procedure, I was visited separately by the anesthesia nurse, the anesthesiologist, Dr. Troy's nurse and Dr. Troy. Each person asked if I had any questions. I never felt rushed and yet everything happened efficiently. My pre-op room and procedure room were modern and pristine. They asked me what music I wanted during the procedure, whether I was warm enough and offered me a choice of snacks afterwards. Dr. Troy visited me right after the procedure to share her findings and give me a detailed written report with photos. The prep instructions were clear and detailed, as were the emailed reminders about timing.

I loved the staff, especially Rita! Everyone was sweet and attentive! Great experience, unfortunately I have to come back in a year because of my findings. Dr. Troy is wonderful and sweet, very, very personable! Thank you all

Dr. Troy is absolutely fantastic. She is very pleasant and attentive, and takes the time to explain things very well both before and after the procedure. She answered every detailed question I had and clearly is very intelligent, knowledgeable, and experienced. The entire experience at her office, Comprehensive Gastrointestinal Health, is everything you want in medical care -- you feel you're in great hands of people who really know what they're doing, the CGH staff is very pleasant, professional, and attentive, everything is efficient and on time, and the facilities are pristine. It's no wonder that when my primary care doctor needed a gastro procedure, she went to Dr. Troy herself, and then recommended Dr. Troy to me.
