Best Dr. Ever. Felt no pain. Love the scar. You can very see it. Ever one wonderful to me. I really enjoyed my stay. I no problem with anything, they went way and Beyond of kindness and love for me. I love him and his main nurse.??

Mitral Valve Replacement Surgery
In April 2024 my husband had to have mitral valve replacement surgery. We live in Western KY and was referred by my husband's cardiologist to Dr. Absi at Vanderbilt Hospital. We have nothing but gratitude and praise for Dr. Absi and his team. They do amazing work! They were able to go through the side of my husband instead of having to do another open heart surgery. My husband went into Afib like the previous heart surgery. Dr. Absi and his team got it back into rhythm within a few days so he did not have to get a Pacemaker. Dr. Absi and his team are very caring about their patients state of mind, care and well-being. We have are very thankful that we were referred to Dr. Absi and are very happy my husband is now able to breathe again due to the valve was almost completely collasped. Dr. Absi is my hero for all that he did for my husband and getting him better and having a better quality of life now.

Dr. Tarek Absi is awesome! He is professional in his dealings with both patient and family. He is knowledgeable and empathetic and it is clear that he really cares about his patients. He saved my husband’s life and went out of his way to be sure I understood fully every step of the way. I have the utmost respect for him and recommend him highly to everyone.

Dr. Absi took care of my father . He is a very gifted surgeon and an amazing human. He is caring and is personable. God blessed us with this amazing physician. Highly recommended. Thank you Dr. Absi for being there for us!
