Perfect personality for an excellent surgeon!
I was admitted to the hospital after fracturing my left radial neck 3 weeks prior (long story.) I met him the night prior to surgery, Dr Bittar was direct, to the point and explained what he would be doing. It was a relief not to have so much small talk. At the end he asked if I had any questions, which I didn't since he went over the whole surgery and that was it. Prior to surgery Dr. Bittar came into pre-op asked if I knew what we doing, yep I did, and it was of to the races. Thank you Dr. Bittar. I know I have a long road to recover, but I appreciate your professionalism.

I just went to see Dr Bittar for my hip. He fully explained everything. He has recommended to do a Cortizone shot but at the surgical center so he can monitor me then we will take it from there. The former doctor I saw didn’t want to give me the time of day and didn’t explain was very rude. I’m so impressed with this doctor. Hopefully I can get this Cortizone injection soon and then take it from there. Thank you Dr Bittar I am so grateful that I found you as my doctor!!!!

Saved my knee
I was very apprehensive to see Dr. Bittar due to the fact that I did not make it to his office until 3 months after my injury. My Sports medicine doctor told me that I had torn my quads that it should have been repaired right after it happened and that possibly it may not be reparable. Needless to say that I went to Dr. Bittar who ordered the surgery stat. He reassured me that he would do everything he could to make me better. Dr Bittar told me he would have to put pins in my knee. Instead he was able to improvise, stretched my quad muscles and sutured them perfectly. He did a tremendous job! it's still early in the healing process but I am grateful for Dr Bittar and all that he has done.

Excellence
After completely blowing out my shoulder (rotator), Dr. Bittar did my surgery. He was cautious before the surgery and made no promises because of how extreme it was. Nine months post surgery I am doing great. Is he a bit "cocky" as others have stated? Sure. Though I see it as confidence. I'll continue to go back to him for my orthopedic issues.

Dr. Bittar was recommended by my dermatologist with a bit of hesitancy (I sensed this). I went to see him and took my MRI of my knee results. He took the paperwork and threw it down on the table and said, "These things are a waste of time mostly". And that was just the beginning. He is very rude, abrupt, and acts as if he is God's gift to the world. I would NEVER go to see him again nor I would recommend him. He made it clear that he didn't care, that I was 'beneath him' and his time.

Bad experience and lack of professionalism. My father had a fractured ankle and a bad knee problem. We got referred to Dr. Bittar per our insurance since hes part of the network. Trying to make an appoint was like pulling teeth, worse than the dentist. They wanted to schedule him a month out when he had already been having severe pain and lots of swelling with no medical attention. From office staff is HORRIBLE, that is where this whole problem stater. They finally got us in to see Dr. Bittar ,

Dr. Bittar saw me and recommended that I have shoulder surgery due to a torn rotator cuff. I was in so much pain at the time so he gave me a cortisone injection to help with pain. That shot worked wonders and to this day although it sometimes hurts I have not yet had the surgery done. That was four years ago and eventhough I do a lot of physical labor I try to be careful not to injure my shoulder and although I know I need the surgery I will hold off.

Dr. Bittar did a left side thr om me 1 year ago. Recovery was a nightmare in the hospital with no compassion from Dr. Bittar..I felt very scared...He is also aloof which did not help me with my questions to him. At this point my left hip still bothers me when I walk over a half hour...and have had to get a cortozone injection. His staff is snobby. I won't further go into that.
