Dr. Minhas: He asked questions, seemed to patronizingly listen, and perfunctorily observed hand/eye coordination, reflexes and such, after which I barely got a sentence out of him as to what test he ordered and no "why," 100% patient-initiated "pulling teeth" for any feedback regarding any possible causes for conditions, diagnostic options or other. I had to enquire as to what he recommended, or I don't believe he would have even relayed that info. to me. Excellence in a field is to be respected, sometimes at the expense of social skills and bare-bones relaying of information to a patient, but I would definitely have chosen another practitioner for a more positive personal interaction as well as medical expertise. Objective observation is part of medical science, but interaction with a patient, listening and fine-tuning, is as well.

He treated my 18 yo son during 3 separate admissions. I never met him! Diagnosed multiple sclerosis and convinced me he didn't need the spinal tap to confirm. Sent my son home recommending were allow 12 months for Solumedrol- steroid to return his vision! Did neuro Dr. consult 4 days later, son immediately admitted. Spinal tap 12 hours later, treatment started just after. My son's eyesight started returning within 8 hrs. of treatment!! He'd be blind if I listened to this man!! I needed EMG, he's the only Dr in our area they could send me to.... no beside manner and it took almost 4 weeks for result which made absolutely no sense with my diagnosis or symptoms!! My recommendation..... don't waste your time or risk your health!

I felt he was insensitive and inconsiderate...he spent 5 minutes with me during my fist appointment and gave me a diagnosis without explaining anything about it...2nd appointment he didn't even have the courtesy to sit down and seemed impatient with my questions...didn't seem interested in my medical issue or how it was affecting me...i got a referral to another specialist from my PCP, because I certainly won't go back to Minhas...

Dr Minhaus was rude, kept interrupting us and wouldn’t listen to my symptoms which acutely got worse in the last month. He. Told me that no further testing was needed, my condition will only get worse, don’t fall or drink alcohol. Luckily I got a second opinion who ordered a cervical spine MRI which showed I had a compressed spinal cord- needed immediate surgery or I would be paralyzed within weeks. Both the neurologist and neurosurgeon concur that Dr Minhaus diagnosis was incorrect.
