Really bad experience with Dr. Cisneros
We entrusted our son to Dr. Cisneros's care at Provo Canyon Behavioral Hospital. I want to let future families considering admitting their child to PCBH know that I wish we hadn't trusted Dr. Cisneros to provide good care for our child. She did not listen to us, did not let us participate in our child's care or decisions. She insisted she knew why our child was experiencing anxiety and depression. Rather than prescribe a common medication to our child, Dr. Cisneros kept adding more medications, increasing doses, and assigning work to help "retrain" our child's brain. When I got concerned about the care our child was receiving, it took FIVE DAYS and many messages before she called me back. It is completely unacceptable to not get to speak with the provider for five days when your child is currently in their full care. It felt awful to not know what was going on, what the medical plan was. I would never trust Dr. Cisneros to take care of my child again.
