We absolutely love Dr. Martelli! My 10 year old daughter has had several pediatricians due to moves that we have had to make for my husband’s job. Dr. Martelli has been her doctor for 3 years now and she is by far our favorite of all of the doctors that our daughter has had. She or her medical assistant reply very quickly when we contact them with concerns. They get us in quickly when we have a concern and the entire staff is very friendly. Dr. Martelli listens very carefully. She explains her advice thoroughly and is happy to answer any questions that we have. She is very kind to my daughter and interacts well with her.

She sees my 2 yo son in Evansville and she is excellent. She listens and validates any concerns. She advises but wants my input on the best way to proceed if the issues are not urgent. She has excellent bedside manor, and my son trusts her. One visit in particular the nurse had to do something that had my son throwing a fit, but Dr.Martelli calmed him and had him laughing and was able to do a brief physical with his permission. I really couldn't be happier with my son's pediatrician.

My son was diagnosed with a rare genetic neuromuscular disorder at 11 months old after switching pediatricians. If Dr. Martelli had listened to my concerns a diagnosis from a specialist could have been found sooner. Additionally treatment that is time sensitive could have been initiated sooner. Instead I was ignored and now my son will never walk. Additionally I was ignored about my concerns of plagipceohaly & torticollis. Both of which were found to be beyond means of meeting criteria for treatment. If treatment would have been started sooner worth helmet therapy and PT our sons head shape would be different than it is now. Requested physical therapy several times and was told it wasn’t necessary. And then received a phone call after my frustration for why we were ignored when his skull measured so severely & was told she said “physical therapy never hurt” when these words were never spoken. Three ears as witnesses. We were very kind forgiving and patient all to be let down.
