There are few doctors like her anymore. Great Doc.
Dr Tacopinia has a warm bedside manner but is very thorough and her education is evident in the questions she asks and the tests she orders. She explains each test and what she is looking for.

My experience was very good. Dr. Tacopina was very thorough, & even though she was aware I had a few previous colonoscopies, she explained everything. The staff was excellent & treated me with good care.

I wasn't happy with her at all in 2016 , when I had a colonoscopy. I felt too rushed and ignored . I wasn't able to her office for an appointment for my results, She didn't come to the phone. She gave my personal business to whoever answered the phone to pass on to me. as of today I am calling the office to get copies of my results .I will be using a different Gastroenterologist for sure

Spent 2 1/2 months of test with her jumping from Lactose intolerant to ibs then hospitalized with a GI bleed two weeks after a colonoscopy. Dr. starts talking IBD / Chrones. Made to sit and wait three weeks for her to go over my results that a Secretary gave me over the phone ..all came back normal. Finding a new DR that is not as busy and I want a full review of all her tests ! Curious why I had that GI bleed? Horrible Dr and Leaving in more pain than I started with!

Dr. insisted that I had IBS. Told me to follow a specific diet, & to follow up in a couple months. The diet didn't work, because I do not have IBS. She then told me that I am gluten intolerant, & need to follow a gluten free diet, & follow up. I tried this too, with no change in my condition. When I went back, I suggested that I may have a more serious condition. Dr. Tacopina rolled her eyes at me, and told me that I have IBS and nothing more. I have been hospitalized TWICE! Time for a new Dr.!!
