Dr. Terrance Adkins, MD

I had a colectomy done by Dr Terrance Adkins. He literally almost ended my life in several ways...I was in TMC for almost a month trying to heal enough from his surgery to go home, he left me bleeding internally for years leading to an emergency blood transfusion and iron infusion, I was hospitalized numerous times due to him leaving a diverticulum with his technique that got infected over and over, I needed a mesh implant from another surgeon as the entire suture site herniated, I had numerous issues with my GI after his surgery, and I finally had to have the entire surgery redone by an actually qualified surgeon who found several abnormalities with Dr. Adkin's surgery. That surgeon fixed what had happened to me and improved my outcome. If I did not get other surgeons to intervene I would literally be dead. I tell everyone I can and he is no longer with Southwest Surgeons (who agreed he is horrible). Please, no matter what, do NOT go to him. He is a dangerous and unpleasant "doctor".
