Saw Dr. Corwin for enlarged prostate on referral from PCP. Every step of the way cogently explained. Scope confirmed exactly what he diagnosed. Surgery as predicted and successful. Post op as predicted. Texas Health Hospital excellent. Dr. Corwin's staff excellent. Superbly done in all respects.

I liked Dr. Corwin at first when I met him. I had a kidney stone that needed to be blasted. That procedure went fine and was sent home shortly after it was completed. On the drive home, I was in extreme pain...such pain that I had to throw up. I called the surgery unit when I returned home and told them something was very wrong. I got back to the surgery clinic and Dr. Corwin asked what I was doing back there. I told him I was in writhing pain and was throwing up. He hesitantly admitted me to the hospital. He said I was on an antibiotic so I should be fine. They gave me IV pain meds and that helped my vomiting to stop. When I urinated my urine was black like coffee grounds and my nurse on duty said I got the ugliest urine award that she had ever seen. Dr. Corwin dropped by and looked at my urine and said it was normal (which is not normal--it means infection, I later found out.) Still very ill, went home. I became sicker and septic and almost died. Totally misdiagnosed me.

corwin aka sparky what kind of a dr goes by sparky? is not to be trusted, his arrogance is unfounded in my opinion. he gave me contradictory information, almost bleed to death because of bladder cancer surgery he performed , and then put me on anti-bio-tics, until another dr told him i didnt need them. i definetly would not recommend for anything

Dr. Corwin was very good. Very straight to point, answered my questions, didn't overwhelm me with information. I recovered quickly from my procedure and I would go to him again. I will continue to go to him for my follow-up visits, which I have to do every 3 months. I don't usually give the top number of stars because there is always room for improvement.

Corwin is an uncaring arrogant boy pretending to be a doctor. I tried to talk with him about pain medication begore kidney stone surgery but he brushed me off. As a result my recovery was extended by weeks. I am allergic to opoids and wanted help. He was no help. I wound up in the emergency room in extreme pain. I was instructed to call his office to schedule a follow up appointment. It took 5 calls. His staff is incompetent also. They kept hanging up. I will interview a doctor in the future.
