I needed to have stones removed from my bile duct I saw Dr. Terry Lin who performed an ERCP to remove the stones. It’s an in and out procedure so I went home that day. I went to bed that night woke up in the middle of the night screaming in the worst pain I have ever experienced worst then childbirth. I literally thought I was going to die! I was taken to ER by ambulance and my husband told the Drs about the ERCP procedure I had they did a CT Scan. They then told my numerous times you need to prepare yourself your wife could die she has the worst severe pancreatitis we have ever seen. I was put into a coma like state so I was out of the severe pain. I had multiple surgeries and procedures on my pancreas . We were told this happens to me because Dr. Terry Lin hit my pancreas while he did the ERCP procedure on me. I was never told about this and I was sent home where I could have possibly died that night! Thankfully I was able to be saved but I was in the hospital for 3 months I had a feeding tube lost a ton of weight I was 82lbs encountered an infection that was hard to treat. I also find out Dr. Terry Lin had another patient down the hall from my room who was dealing with the same medical emergency. I lost 82% of my pancreas it ears it’s shelf and dies causes infection. They say the pancreas organ is the angry organ because of this. I still have problems with my pancreas from this and I always will for the rest of my life. This has effected me and my family in so many ways. I still have eating difficulties, I still have gaining weight difficulties, I still get pancreatic flare ups which causes very bad pain. I will always have to deal with this forever! This should not have happened or at the very least Dr. Lin should have told me so I know what could happen once the anesthesia wore off. I do not wish anyone else or the people that love them to have to go through this. Research your surgeon and go with another qualified Dr.
