Dr. Thaddeus O'Neill, MD

I can't review Dr. O'Neill, he may be an amazing surgeon, I wouldn't know. I had an MRI almost a month ago, no call back from his office, and have called so many times and can't get a call back. I gave up and will seek treatment from an office with a more capable staff. I'm unsure if their schedule is so full they don't need another patient, or if they're just this inept at their jobs.

They charge $50 to schedule and consult. Fine, I get that for cancelling within 24 hours of an appointment or no show but cancelling an appointment 10 business prior to the appointment is plenty sufficient for filling your “in demand” doctors consult schedule. No, I will not reschedule. And will not ever speak well of Miami Valley Plastic Surgery if the topic of plastic surgery presents itself within my healthcare industry work, family, or friends. Thank you, but no thank you.

He’s a very unfriendly doctor. If you make payments to his office you will be charged a monthly fee. So if you’re making a $10 a month payment then $7 is their fee. So only $3 goes to your bill. I would never use him again and will not refer him to anyone.

THE MOST CARELESS, UNPROFESSIONAL "PHYSICIAN" I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF BEING "CARED" FOR. I was treated like an animal, I was put through physical pain without any remorse by a man who didn't have the decency to say hello or introduce himself. I was having stitches removed following a breast augmentation surgery performed by another doctor, and this man poked and prodded at me as tears streamed down my face from the pain, and he had nothing to say to me, wouldn't even look me in the eyes. Their office canceled my appointment twice, and in addition, confirmed with me that they had the operation report in their possession. I show up to the appointment, there is no operation report to be found. Instead of waiting for a fax with the operation report, they went ahead and started removing my stitches anyway, as the doctor said to my face "I don't know". I am beyond furious and appalled that this man can even call himself a doctor with how unprofessional and careless he was.

I saw this doc for an upper blepharoplasty consultation. Dr. O'Neill did not take my request seriously and instead of agreeing to do the upper bleph, tried to convince me that one eyebrow was higher than the other. He recommended a brow lift on one side, and bleph on the other, which would've cost almost $4k. That wasn't even the procedure I was asking for! I found someone else who got better reviews on multiple sites. I got the surgery that I wanted for a LOT less.

I had a consultation with Dr. O’Neill in August. His office was to get pre-authorization from my insurance company. I received a letter from the insurance company authorizing the surgery. I called Dr. O’Neill’s office and was told the Scheduler would contact me. Three months later and four more unreturned calls to his office, I have decided to go with another Doctor. Dr. O’Neill may or may not be a good surgeon, I do not know. But I figure he is only as good as the staff that supports him.

He told me one thing about a procedure but did something much more invasive without telling me anything the day of. The medicine he used to numb the area barely worked and I still felt most of what he was doing. When he was done he left the room without telling me anything about heal time, how to care for the wound, nothing. I regret having the procedure done at all now, at the very least I wish I hadn't gone to this doctor.
