Dr. Thang An, DO

Dr. An gave me a prescription. It has a refill but Wal-Mart will not refill it and CVS will not refill it. I have called his office a number of times to get help with this, but all his staff will do is to scold me. Now they won't even answer the phone and they have less than zero interest in helping me get the medication I need.

Dr. An showed concern along with expertise. He was very attentive, caring and knowledgeable. He is the one who helped me get well.

Went in to have script updated. I was called back and the woman told me “put on yo mask. I did as I was told but asked why I had to wear a mask when their other employees had none on. She said because I told you you do. I said “your people don’t have on mask. “My people” she said about 5 times. Naw, yo people, yo people. She took it that I said your people as in you black people. I said your people as in your employees. Then she ran around the office telling all the other ladies that I referred to them as yo people. This went on for 15 minutes. Finally I got up and tried to explain to the others I had only referred to the unmasked employees as her people and I had not offered any remarks in a racist manner. I ended up leaving because the woman would not stopped pestering me. One of the worst experiences of my life. I have seen Dr. A many times before. He had never asked me to wear a mask and was always more than kind. This was a very humiliating experience. Will not go their to spend

DO NOT go to this UNPROFESSIONAL ESTABLISHMENT!!! (They are VERBALLY Volatile, aggressive & again UNPROFESSIONAL) I am completely appalled, disturbed, and ultimately DISGUSTED! PLEASE READ: So I gave this establishment a call at 4:58pm & I asked them an insurance question. I was literally 20 mins away. I saw the establishment closed at 6 so I had a decent amount of time to get there so my daughter could be seen. I pull up at 5:33pm. I get to the doors & they are locked. In my mind I thought maybe the doors were locked for safety purposes being that it’s daylights saving and it’s getting closer to closing time. So I knocked harder just in case they were in the back and couldn’t hear me. Next thing you know I hear a woman that’s parked near the front door literally roll her window down and scream rudely, “We’re closed!" Dr. An has been a fabulous doctor. He is attentive and listens to his patients. I have chosen to make him my primary care physician because I have found him to be so great.

I don't understand any review less than 5 stars most competent and empathetic physician I've had in over 50 years highly recommend him and his staff

I saw Doctor An for a staph infection that had been treated by the VA about 48 hours prior and had become larger and ulcerative. He was very thorough and professional, and took time to explain the infection and the treatment options in terms that I could understand. I'm impressed by his knowledge and skills and his demeanor. I will definitely be back when an emergency or illness arises. He has my highest respect, and I absolutely recommend him to anyone in the Montgomery area who is looking for a great doctor.

He was very helpful and answered all questions I asked about gave me some advice on how to make my life better .He spent more time with me than a specialist I have been seeing for years. He prescribed me some medications that has helped me in a major way.

The office staff is definitely the ones who gave this horrendous doctor 5 star reviews. He is nowhere close to 5 star worthy. In fact, if I could give him zero stars, I would. He showed no interest in my medical concern, but took my money. I have already acquired an attorney to deal with this so called doctor and his staff. Go elsewhere for a doctor and staff that will be proactive in your treatment. As well as a staff who knows what they’re doing as Kimberly stuck me 3 times for bloodwork. Bad!

The worse! He stood in the room looking like he was sleeping, asked me 2 questions, took blood & urine and I never heard from him again. Asked him 3 weeks ago to complete paperwork for reasonable accommodation at my job so I can stay working, he said okay but never did. I’ve never been to a doctor who shows zero interest in a patient’s health. Never even got back to me regarding my blood, urine & CT Scan. My time & money are valuable, he wasted it. Go elsewhere for a real doctor, one who cares!!

He is horrible. Not attentive to the patient's health concerns. Does not get back to the patient regarding medical test results. I would not recommend him. It would be a waste of your time & money. Not the type of doctor you should want on your medical team because he does not care, just seems to go through the motions. His staff gives off the same unhelpful attitude. They want the patient to make him their primary care physician even when the insurance does not require you to choose a pcp. BAD!

If I could give him zero stars, I would. The office staff must be the ones putting the perfect scores on the websites because Dr. An is the worse doctor I have ever visited. When I moved to Alabama, I had to locate a doctor for a couple of health issues. I visited him because a couple reviews recommended him. I waited for close to an hour before seeing him, he asked me 3 questions, took blood/urine and I never heard back from him. He showed no interest in my medical concerns. Worse doctor ever!!

Do not visit him if you are seeking a doc who is attentive & cares about your health concerns. He looked like he wanted to pass out or fall asleep. A month goes by, I still haven’t received info from medical testing, he wouldn’t complete paperwork for my job. They want the patient to make him the pcp even though I don’t have to choose a pcp with BCBS. Glad I did not because he wasted my time & money. Not the doctor anyone would want when trying to find out & treatment a major health concern!

I just moved to Alabama, have been having some health concerns so although I didn’t have to choose a PCP, I wanted to at least find a doctor who can assist me in navigating which specialist doctors I should see. I went to this doctor because of the reviews on this website recommended him. He is the worse, no lie! He showed no willingness to assist, was not attentive, just stood there dozing off to sleep. Asked 3 questions and I never seen nor heard from him again, not even regarding test results

Never heard anything about my test results until I called. I do not recommend this guy. If you have health concerns, go elsewhere. He would tell me excuses of how busy the office is as though I am not a patient seeking care and guidance with my health concerns. So, if you want a doctor who is attentive to your health scares and who cares about your well being, then do not go to this doctor. He is the worse! Go elsewhere. The office staff is rude as well. The wait time is long. They do not care!

Do not go to this doctor if you are looking for someone who is sincere & attentive to the patient’s concerns. He is the worst! I had to pay a pretty penny aince my insurance does not cover everything and I feel like my time and money was completely wasted! Days and weeks have passed and I have not heard from him regarding the blood and urine work ups. Never have I had to hunt down a Doctor for test results. Never have I had such a lackluster, incompetent doctor. Go elsewhere for health concerns.

The absolute worse doctor ever in my lifetime. He is not caring, not attentive & has caused me a lot of frustration because I could have given my money to another doctor, one who shows a caring attitude for the patient in order to better assist. I refuse to go back to this doctor of nothing as to not waste my valuable money! If you want a doctor who is attentive to your concerns then this little dude is not the Doctor for you. Don’t waste your time because he is the worse! Should get zero stars!
