Private, Professional and Proper
Dr Handrup and Associates are sadly under rated in the prior posts. As a former long-term patient, his team has always treated me during my best of days and my worst days... we all have them.... we are all perfectly imperfect, appropriately inappropriate, and demanding when we are at a worst....

Would rather chat than actually show any interest in answering my questions or find me the additional support I need. Told me to search Google for neuropsych testing, claiming he “didn’t know anybody.” Completely disinterested in digging deeper. Office staff hung up on me today, calling to collect a fee about which I was never notified. That’s honestly the last straw.

First of all, the very small waiting office is always packed with patients which for people with mental helath issues is certainly not good. My anxiety ran rampant while waiting for my appointment which was never on time. Then, you notice that when the doctor starts calling patients in - he is on the roll - people are in and out within 5 minutes which hardly seems acceptable considering why they are all there. It's not a flu shot they came to get, it's professional psychiatric help - and that ca

I was prescribed a medication by Dr. Handrup and he DOUBLED my dosage in less than 2 weeks. I thought I was dying because my body was not adjusted to the medicine like my current doctor had me do. NEVER SEE HIM, find someone else who actually cares.
