best doctor and surgeon ever
I've seen Dr. Pappas for years. He follows me for a pancreatic cyst that causes concern it may become cancerous. After discovery of the cyst (& a liver tumor) multiple providers/surgeons recommended removal of the cyst which would involve a very dangerous difficult surgery called a Whipple Procedure. This procedure often results in significant digestive & nutritional issues & weight loss. I weigh less than 120 #. Thankfully Dr. Pappas took a more conservative approach while reassuring me as no one else ever has. He's monitored the cyst since 2007 with many CT scans & MRI's. While it's grown & led to pancreatitis & several biopsies I have still avoided this surgery with his help. I am now 63 and I pray I never require that procedure. My only concern with Dr. Pappas is that he'll retire & I'll never find another provider as outstanding as him. He gives me total confidence in him, he listens & I believe his skills are unmatched. He sees me promptly when I need him. He's the best.

Fantastic, Caring, Professional Surgeon
As a senior age patient, I was frightened of surgery. Dr. Pappas explained the proposed surgery in terms I could understand and why the surgery offered the best outcome for my condition. His willingness to take the time to answer my questions and his caring, patient professionalism allied my fears. The surgery went exceptionally well and was definitely the right decision, I got my life back! I cannot recommend him and his team highly enough.

He was very receptive to my needs. His team is very caring and provide education and assistance as needed. I had a very complex abdominal hernia. I had 8 other surgeries by other surgeons on the East Coast. Dr. Pappas was challenged with my condition and was willing to study and investigate possible solutions. He met with other doctors via Zoom conferencing discussing my case. He has performed an amazing repair of my abdominal hernia. I highly recommend him.
