RUN DONT WALK FROM Dr. Pope! He is the most inept cardiologist and should not be practicing medicine. He points the fingers at other specialties saying it’s not the heart when as it turned out, it was exactly the heart and now there is nothing I can do! He was “watching” my father’s mitral valve, my dad presented with all of the signs and all dr pope had to do was run a simple test called a transesophogeal echocardiogram, he didn’t and now it’s too late. I want to prevent others from having to deal with this inept Dr. There are so many good cardiologists in KC and he is NOT who you want your loved one seeing for heart issues.

Dr Pope worked us in to deal with my mother’s illness and then saw her in a month to check on her. Over the last several years Dr Pope and his associates have always been available when emergencies arose as well as with medication advice. He is a great Dr and I am so very glad he has been so present in the care of my Mom.

We have been seeing Dr Pope for about ten years and he never disappoints us. He is always friendly and takes time to answer any questions we have. He explains his reasons for tests or medications he orders. He is very knowledgeable but brings things down to a lay persons level which I really appreciate. All of his staff is friendly and efficient in getting patients checked in, doing vital signs and ekgs, and then checking us out. Wait times have been very short. I would highly recommend Dr Pope and isoffice if you are looking for a cardiologist

Dr. Pope came highly recommended by someone in the medical field. Their recommendation was right on. He is very thorough and spends time with you to discuss options. His command of his area of practice is evident. Confidence in your cardiologist is critical.
