Dr Stringer
Dr Stringer is very kind and caring. He has years of experience and knowledge in this field of orthopedics. He is attempting to fix my knee replacement that will not bend past 70 degree flexion. I am a high risk patient so I thank him for taking on my personal dilemma. I fully trust him.

Dr. Stringer gave me one full hip-no pain in the ‘new hip’ and I look forward to him doing the other hip soon! I recommend his work to those nervous about full hip surgery. He is the best! VL

Happy with experience and results
Dr. Stringer did a total hip replacement on me on October 6. Now, 6 months later, it has totally healed, benefited from physical therapy, and returned me to my normal life of gardening, hiking, and activity. I am thoroughly pleased with the efficiency of the Colorado Springs Orthopedic Group's operation and the quality of Dr. Stringer's work. I also had a knee replacement in 2018 with another of CSOG's surgeons and I plan to visit them about my hand. It's a 170 mile round trip for me to visit them from rural Colorado and worth every bit of the effort to be treated by this excellent group.

Find A Different Surgeon
Dr Stringer performed what was supposed to be a routine hip replacement surgery on me October 2018. During the surgery he severed my sciatic nerve and I now have permanent pain and numbness. I have not felt the bottom half of my leg or foot for 3 1/2 years now. The pain I suffer with is agonizing and I have to wear a brace to be able to walk. I was so looking forward to being pain free with the new hip and I am now worse off than when I went in for surgery. I pleaded with him for help because this has caused quite the financial burden for me also. I have to take prescription pain medicine and the brace has to be replaced as it wears out. He couldn't care less. The whole experience has terribly impacted my life in so many ways I don't have the space to type it all. Please reconsider any surgery with him. I wouldn't wish this on anyone! I will suffer the rest of my life because of Dr. Stringer. (Have submitted reviews before but has been awhile)

Dr. Springer is absolutely wonderful! I visited his office on 9/13/2019. I had been living in knee-pain-hell for over 18 years, bone to bone on both knees. After taking X-rays it was clear to Dr. Springer that I would need both of my knees replaced, aka, Bilateral knee replacement surgery. Within 1 week he had me scheduled for surgery on 10/23/2019. Next, I went for a CatScan where they created a 3 dimensional view of my knees. They used these to create and make new, customized knees, just for me! I then visited St.Francis Hospital for a pre-admission evaluation. The facilities are truly state-of-the-art, and I qualified for having both knees replaced simultaneously. This is not normal as they will test to insure you are able to handle the surgeries. I passed. All preliminary questions were addressed and very thoroughly planned and executed, prior to surgery. Dr. Springer insured that all of my preoperative and postoperative needs we're addressed and completed. Goes the extra mile

Dr. Stringer did a total knee replacement on me almost 4 yrs ago. He did excellent work and I have not had any trouble with it. The surgery eliminated the pain I was having which made it all worth while. I have moved out of state but I came back to Dr Stringer to determine what is causing the pain in my other knee. I trust him to find out the cause and give me the best solution,

Great! Total Knee Replacement and walking next day, with 110 degree ROM in just two weeks. Very professional staff, smooth procedure and personal feedback. This is my second surgery by Dr. Stringer, as I wanted to have the same success as my first procedure. I’m very pleased with the results and have moved to outbound PT.

I've been seeing Dr Stringer for 30 years and can say he's the best at what he does. He takes time to talk with you, not at you. I've never felt rushed to get through the encounter. He's done multiple surgeries on my knee and I've always felt fully informed before and and happy afterwards.
