Dr. Theodoros Kapetanakis, MD

Dr. Theo is a life changing doctor. I had unknowingly dealt with endo for at least 10 years (based on symptoms) and after going to back to back doctor appointments, gyno visits, blood work etc. I was recommended to see him as an endo specialist. Within 20 minutesc he listened to me, empathized, and believed me. He made me feel seen and heard and finally provided a glimmer of hope after so many years feeling alien to my body. He got me on schedule for surgery and was the most patient, incredible, and thorough surgeon and doctor. My life has improved dramatically after my endo removal and I owe him my happy days finally being pain free and free of that misunderstood and offer overlooked illness. I hope more patients voice their praise and give him his flowers. He truly deserves it all.

This man decided to change my therapy established ten years prior by Dr. Mackenzie without even an office visit or conversation and with no medical evidence or reason. I provided studies that Dr. Mackenzie had given me, met with silence. This doctor is devoid of empathy and compassion and professional communication. He does not honor the standard of care that Dr. Mackenzie established through his good work. This man made decisions without looking at the patient history that had been filled with my time with Dr. Mackenzie. Sham replacement, he should be ashamed of himself and he lacks the knowledge behind the efficacy of helpful therapies and isn't a trustworthy doctor because he doesn't account for any past procedures when makjng changes to healthcare that directly impacts quality of life for women who suffer from endometriosis and other maladies that often accompany it such as pelvic floor dysfunction. I did not feel like this doctor listened or respected here.

I have seen several obgyns for infertility reasons and no one has ever touched on the issues he picked up on instantly without a full explanation of my background.
