Dr Barrett was so helpful, especially with full explanations regarding the cause of my knee issues .As well I was most appreciative of his thorough explanations of the possible next steps that might be necessary .Along with all his medical explanations he was thoughtful, kind and very gentle .

Hard To See
In my opinion, Dr. Barrett's work on my knee replacement was nothing short of excellent. His staff, including his PA, are conscientious, expert and caring. My one complaint is that Dr. Barrett is hard to see both pre-surguery and after. It seems like the demands for his surgical expertise leave little time for consultations and follow-up.

Failed TKR Surgery
Sadly, my TKR surgery was a failure and subsequently had to have two more surgeries, I still lost 35% use of my leg. It was not my fault wrong size part was installed.

Caring, considerate, compassionate and competent.
Dr. B is a very caring and attentive Orthopedic Dr. He is considerate in his bedside manner as he talks to you. He is compassionate to do the best work for you, as each surgery is individualized. He is totally competent as it hurt to walk prior to the surgery due to the degenerative nature of my hip, and 2 years later, I walk and exercise again without pain.

Excellent total knee replacement
I am very pleased with my total knee replacement. This was my 3 months visit after surgery. Dr Barrett is an excellent surgeon and has excellent bedside manner.

New LH Hip replacement
When meeting Dr. Barrett he listened about the pain I was experiencing for years in my left hip. I had always played sports and still am quite active and had worn it out. He said this is the approach i use and will take care of you and the problem. He made me feel comfortable in having the surgery. I am 14 weeks with the new hip and I am very thankful that Dr. Barrett did the surgery. He was and is a fantastic surgeon and has a great bedside manor.

Preop for total hip replacement
I had my preop appointment today. Dr. Barrett sat and listened to questions from me, I never got the feeling that he wanted me to rush through any of my concerns. I really appreciated that! He explained everything that I can expect thoroughly and was very kind in his manner. I know I will be in good, capable hands.
