unhelpful, uncaring
I had come to Dr Bilisko asking for him to check out my thyroid because of irregularities noted by my PT massage therapist of over 10 years -- to her assessment, this was new, notable, and concerning. Dr Bilisko could not find anything when he palpated the area and was indignant when I asked for an ultrasound. He left the exam room in a huff (and I never heard from or saw him again). The ultrasound revealed a mass so large that it required a biopsy. I was a recent breast cancer patient so this was of great concern to me, overall. Thankfully, the biopsy came back negative -- but I was never contacted by Dr Bilisko or his staff. I had to hunt down the test results myself and I was never contacted for a follow-up. Needless to say, I never went to DR Bilisko again.

Still my primary care physician after 8 years.
I haven't updated a new review since 2016. Dr Bilisko is a fantastic doctor and I have been so happy with his care. He is funny and professional and really cares about his patients. He is extremely smart and knows a lot about everything! From medicine to music to sports. He is a personable and down to earth guy. I would highly recommend his services to anyone looking for great care. Also, his staff is equally wonderful and they always have a smile on their faces. Keep up the great work!

I have been a patient of Dr. Bilisko's for 21 years. I have always had my questions answered and have always received top notch care. I moved away from the area for 10 years and still made the drive down from up north to see him for medical issues. He has always been spot on with care. I highly recommend Dr. Bilidko.

Doctor always listens to me. I think he can even tell when I don’t want to tell him what’s on my mind. He even laughs at my jokes. Staff is very supportive too especially the gal in the lab. I have no complaints

Dr. Bilisko is really great. Always takes the time to make sure all your concerns are answered, even if it's after office hours at times. Been with him for years. Very nice guy. Wouldn't go to anyone else.

This is my second review because I ran out of 'characters' to add something important. I went in to see Dr Bilisko because I had a very high heart rate several times a day. The nurse gave me an ekg, Dr Bilisko listened to my heart rate -it was very high- and because the ekg was normal? I was sent on my way. I'm 69 years old. I saw my Cardiologist and he said I should have been sent to him immediately. Who knows, maybe I could have had a heart attack due to this lack of concern. I feel so dumb that I let it go down that way, but I'm not a doctor. The staff there are pretty wonderful except the blonde who sits at the reception desk and handles appointments. She's rather abrupt for that position, and seems self important. Also, if you talk about something that annoys him, he will cut you right off by saying, "I don't want to hear about that". Wow!

After 9 years of Dr. Bilisko caring for me, he discharged me over a difference of opinion. I had never missed a payment or appointment. I was seen emergently for chest pain and referred for a stress test. His office failed to make my health a priority and not only did not schedule the appointment but discharged me before I could establish a new PCP.
