Best decision ever
For me, this total hip replacement could not have gone any better. From the staff getting me in and ready, to my discharge. Everyone was very professional and took the time to make sure I was calm and ready. Except for minor nerve and muscle pains, as expected, I never had any hip pain, which I did not expect. It made beginning my on-line rehab program smoother. At just 3 months, I am walking without aids much of the time and getting stronger. I was afraid my age, weight and health problems would be an issue, but it was still a great experience.

Dr Bowen removed a tumor in my right proximal humerus in March. He is the epitome of what a surgeon should be!! Explains in detail about your condition. Takes time at appointment to exam and go over your plan of care. And is very personable!! Which isn’t always the case with surgeons. Top class act! Geisinger is fortunate to have him!
