Dr. Thomas Cangiano, MD

I had an ESWL procedure with Dr Cangiano & was very pleased with the whole experience! He was very nice, friendly & made me feel relaxed. When it comes time to do the other side I will definitely go back to him!!

Monday 8/14/2023 I had my treatment with chemo at approximately 4 pm. They are never on time. This was the worst experience of my life. I have had many surgeries where a catheter was used but this was the worst. The catheter was inserted in me causing great pain during the whole insertion, this is my third time for the chemo the other insertions were not painful only pressure. Then I had to wait 20 minutes for the chemo-chemical to be inserted in me. The first two times I had the chemo, the catheter was inserted with no pain and the chemo was ready to go and inserted.I now am bleeding and throwing small clots when I urinate, I assume this is from tears in my urethra from the rough treatment during the insertion of the catheter. The blood and clots seem to be during the start of urination only.

Dr Cangiano will find something wrong with you and send you for surgery at Advent Hospital even if you don’t need it. The Hospital in turn gives him all kinds of Kudos. The give him top postings in their brochures, name him top doctor, etc. Cangiano is nothing more than a feeder doctor to Advent Health. His staff is very loyal because he treats them and their families to vacations, Christmas parties at remote destinations, all expenses paid. It’s a scam! Find another doctor and hospital.

I was throughly pleased with Dr. Cangiano, he is an excellent surgeon, he speaks in plain, easy to understand context. I’m very comfortable with him and his medical staff, ie Pamela, surgery scheduling, P.A. Nicole Magrann are excellent but the front office sadly lacks professionalism, I would go weeks without having messages addresses returned. Dr Cangiano is worthy of much better front office staff.

Lots of complications with my vasectomy, office is never on time, nurses struggle to take blood pressure, can’t see doctors on visits, just stay away from this office

Dr. Cangiano and his staff are good in diagnosis, explanations, treatment. However, the administration is poor. They do not answer the phone, nor messages, even on important clinical issues.

Dr.cangiano is simply the best just to learn today he can no longer treat me anymore.you see dr.cangiano treats serious patients mine is not serious Dr.Cangiano was not only my dr.for 13yrs he was my friend I hope the best for him. Thank you so much for being there for me and all the help I did receive from you you are the best

Dr. Cangiano is pleasant during the initial visit; however, he does not respond to messages, and he does not discuss radiology reports with his patients unless he sees them in person. Scheduling an appointment takes a while, and waiting many weeks to discuss a troubling report is not acceptable for patients that are feeling sick. Lastly, his office cannot be trusted with their patients' specimens - they lose them! So, while a patient is waiting, in pain, for the specimen to be tested in a lab, the patient is simply wasting time.

Awful! Sensitive information so I can not elaborate but PLEASE find someone else!

My visit with Dr. Cangiano was excellent! He was very easy to talk to about personal and sensitive issues. He provided me reassurance and together we developed a plan to improve my health. I was grateful for the amount of time he spent with me explaining our treatment plan. His expertise and communication were outstanding!

I can offer a rather unique review on a physician who is most talented. I am a retired anesthesiologist and years back, I worked with Dr. Cangiano many times and his technical skills are nothing less than a true gift. His clinical judgment has always been on the mark. You see, I’ve also been his patient for 7 years following prostate cancer that was treated and cured with radiation at his suggestion. Dr. Cangiano did a flawless laser procedure 10 days ago for radiation complications. I also deal with immobility due to Parkinson’s and his staff has in every way tried to comfort me. Dr Cangiano has been there for me during some difficult times and I feel blessed to have him as my physician.

Dr. Cangiano is utterly kind, professional and to the point. He has treated my daughter for recurring stone removal with great success.

I met Dr. Congiano and felt that he knew his stuff and would take care of my needs. In addition, I liked the office staff. Dr. Cangiano actually recommended that I visit a radiologist before making any decisions. I chose to have a robotic prostectomy. My surgery was performed at Altamonte Springs by Dr. Congiano. I walked out the hospital the next day and had very little incontenince and now have erections. Altamonte was a great hospital. I would do it again if I had to.

Dr. Cangiano is professional and considerate. He explains your condition in a clear, concise manner and offers every treatment option available, fully explaining each so you can make an informed decision.

He is a great doctor but the staff NEVER gets back with you and you will wait at least 1 1/2 after your appt The nurse who returns calls is very unhappy and it reflects when she calls you back

Terrible expirence in surgery, 4 months the infection for surgery

Took his time even though the office was packed full and standing room only very knowledgeable, articulate and friendly

Dr. Cangiano treated me very well, very careful, great staff. He gained my trust and i feel fortunate to have him as my doctor. I would recommend him to anyone who needs his area of expertise.

Dr. Cangiano is awesome, down to earth, professional, skilled, with a very special touch of humane. He goes above his call of duty when required, and does so with caring concern, He applies his expertise by providing the right treatment. He is an awesome doctor, his staff is very nice and kind, office location is great, and the attention and short wait time is outstanding. We have a lot to be grateful in Dr. Cangiano, a very special man!

Dr. Cangiano has proven to be not only an excellent Doctor, but he goes above his call of duty while performing his medical research and deciding on any procedure. Great location, little waiting time, nice staff. Contrary to many, Dr. Cangiano has retained that special humane touch while performing his medical duties by making patients feel attended to, cared for and listened to, while helping us get better.
